    A fun cookbook and culinary tour

I really enjoy this cookbook, and look through it often for inspiration when I am craving eastern flavors. These recipes are a bit more complicated for the most part, so I consider this a weekend cookbook. The author is very authentic, and does not take any short cuts or substitutions with ingredients. Thankfully I have an Asian market down the street where I can acquire most of the ingredients! The Pad Ka Prao and Nasi Goreng have been my favorites so far.

    An excellent cook book

I love the whole foods, plant based diet, which makes me feel good and and gives me a lot of energy and a feeling of well-being, but it can get boring over time.  I looked for new flavors and ideas, and I definitely found them in this book.  Street food' of course, is often deep fried and this is the downside of the book, but inspired by the recipes,  I bought an air fryer and have found that many of them can be made with minimal oil in the air fryer!  I recommend this book for anyone who wants to jazz up their cooking with new ideas and flavors.

I wanted to love this book, but too complicated & time consuming.  I kept it around for about a year because it's such a beautiful book & enjoyed just looking through it. But I was never drawn to any of the recipes, too many ingredients and too time consuming for me personally.
