This is the best rope toy we have ever purchased for our AustralianShepherd. Extremely durable through some chewing and lots of tug-of-war!

For reference my giant kind of useless but adorable but kind of dumb sack of meat of a dog is a Labrador retriever and shepherd mix (or so the rescue says). He's 80 pounds, 1.5 years old, and loves chewing things. [That was a joke I love my dog more than life itself] The last time I bought ropes off of Amazon it was this twelve pack version. Wow, I thought. Great deal! That proved to be wrong after my dog chewed through two of them, ingested a part of the low quality string used to make the rope, and I had to pull it out of his butt with a pair of gloves. In short, not pleasant. However this rope has lived for.. two months. And is still going on pretty strong. There are some tears here and there and the ends look a little frayed, but it's fine, to my surprise. My 8 year old brother and my dog weigh about the same and they play tug of war together. This rope works. If you are just as desperate as I was, I reccomend for you to buy this rope, because it's not as crappy as other Amazon ropes. 10/10

For starters, my rottweiler, Kirara, has got a strong build with lots of muscle to back her up. To top it off, she has plenty of energy and she's suuuuuuuuper stubborn about winning that she'll rip through rope to get her way-- but not this time! The rope is heavy and thick, and I truthfully don't believe there's any dog out there that can tear through it like a Twizzler. I do think this is a purchase that'll last a year, even with frequent, high-intensity use on a daily basis. I'm definitely looking forward to testing the durability of this product in the future, along side Kirara :) While it's perfect for play with ACTIVE supervision, I wouldn't give this to your dog to just chew on it. This is NOT a chew toy, so if you're looking for something with that trait, look elsewhere. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because this rope is marketed for "aggressive chewers"-- but it is a ROPE, made of fabric and bound with thread-- it's not safe to give to any animal because it could cause a blockage if consumed. I personally believe that this was an ill-fated decision that doesn't keep in mind the welfare of users. In conclusion, I do believe that this was a great purchase in order to spend more time with my Kirara and get her to expend her energy. The length is perfect for tug-a-war and it feels sturdy (it also washes well!) enough that I'm not scared it'll snap between the two of us, haha. My only gripe would be that I don't recommend this as a chew toy, which it is otherwise marketed as. Overall? 4.0 stars! -Leila & Kirara P.S I cannot stress enough that dogs SHOULD NEVER be left alone with a toy, and that there is no such thing as an "indestructible" dog toy. Anything made can be broken, so keep that in mind even when the toy is marketed as unbreakable. I would rather have my pet be bored and alive, than in pain or worse.

To put it simple this is a huge rope of what seems like all natural fibers. It is very thick and long. It should last my dogs a long time. I tied a rope to a tree in my back yard and then attached this dog rope to it. My dogs run snagg the rope and swing, tug, and play all day.

It's a dog rope, but its a really good dog rope. I've had a few aggressive chewer ropes & last a few weeks & its near destroyed. The material is higher quality the movement of the rope threads are more resilient. Whatever it is I'll be buying another one. Inside rope & outside sloppy weather rope. I like that it's a longer rope I can stand up straight don't have to bend my bad back.

My dog LOVED the rope, but it lasted 3-4 days at the most before he split it in half. Not as durable as everyone states.

Excellent value for a very tough tug of war rope for dogs.

My pitti chewed through this in less than one hour. It looks well made and is nice and thick but it didn't last for my aggressive chewer.
