Calico Critters - Persian Cat Family - Miniature Collectible Toys

These are so cute. I bought them for my granddaughters and they loved them.

When it comes to adorable collectible toys, the Calico Critters Persian Cat Family truly takes the cake. The moment my daughter laid eyes on these 3-inch dolls, it was love at first sight. The nice quality of these figures is immediately apparent – from the intricate details of their fur to the charming accessories they come with. But it's not just about their appearance. These little critters have quickly become the stars of our dollhouse adventures. Their versatility in imaginative play is remarkable. Whether it's arranging a tea party in the dollhouse living room or going on a pretend picnic in the miniature garden, these dolls are up for any adventure my daughter dreams up. It warms my heart to see my daughter's eyes light up every time she plays with the Persian Cat Family. These dolls have brought a whole new level of joy and creativity to her playtime. If you're looking for toys that capture your child's imagination and bring smiles to their faces, look no further. The Calico Critters Persian Cat Family is a must-have for any playtime collection.

Definitely addicted now! Sure, you can get knock off versions for less--but they aren't cute like these babies, or as solidly built. I'd rather have a quality toy that can be passed down, than another crap cheap landfill item in a matter of hours to days. Money well spent, more than one 'lifetime' of use, and less garbage somewhere. Of course, if you are a parent who didn't bother to teach your kids how to responsibly play and care for their toys so they just destroy everything, then just by the crap the little monsters deserve. But if you did your job as a parent, this is the brand for your kids. Love these!

This is the second set of these little dolls that I have purchased. I was hesitate at first because of the cost, but they are very well made dolls. Pros: * The felt/fuzz on them is very durable. You can not just scratch or rub it off as you can with other brands. * They are super cute, and pose-able *The arms, head & legs all move, and they are very sturdy, and can not be pulled apart by accident or easily. * The clothes are very well made: I was concerned about the satin type fabric that the clothes are made from, but so far they are not falling apart and there are none of the loose strings on the insides by the seams that you would expect from this type of fabric. Cons: *The whiskers: if you are not careful...they can be pulled out of the face. Basically...you have two small pieces of clear "fishing type line" that run thru the face and stick out on either side. So if you pull it too hard on one side...they will start to move on the other and get shorter. My older daughters have not done this...but my three year old son...he tested that part out for us... He used his teeth to pull them out... They will not fall out by accident, but you can pull them with your fingers if you pinch them hard enough. *The black paint. While the fuzz/felt is still intact...the paint/dye that they use to make the black parts has started to rub off on the tips of all the cats ears. We have only had these guys for ONE month. so I am curious what they will look like in a year....I will definitely update my review with pictures to let you know. This family was chosen specifically by my four year old for Christmas. I have concerns about the tails...while they seem sturdy enough...they are thin...and I wonder if they might snap off with all the play..again...I will have to update you on that in a year.

We used them as cake toppers for my daughter's casual wedding. She married a Brit, so we're waiting for the real wedding and real cake to be held in the UK. The US wedding was a first step to her being able to move there permanently.
