Why was product 16 oz reduced to 12 oz?

The old formula needed 16 oz to do what the new superior formula in 12 oz can do today. The new product in the black bottle outperforms the older grey 16 oz bottle.

Is this a thick liquid or is it thin? I’m worried about it changing oil viscosity

Hi and great question. Using the BestLine Engine treatment does not change the viscosity of your oil. We use a 20 weight base oil and your only using 12-ounces for every 5- quarts of your regular oil.

Can i put two bottles of this product in my truck engine 5.3?

Hi, yes you can add 2 bottles for even better results. The dosage rate for daily drivers, not high performance, is 1 bottle per 5 quarts of oil. If you want the best results use 2 bottles per 5 quarts of oil, that's what we do with our high-performance and race cars.
