They feel a little bit shallow and that's not an insult to the author. I'm still getting something out of them. It's just that I'm in a point in my spiritual development where I want to feel like God is speaking directly to me when I do a reading for myself. I'm also a writer . I'll write for a living and I love language so when messages get a little detail rich, I don't shy away. I like to read and I'm perfectly okay with messages that go into a lot of detail. They help me to learn more about myself and I like that. But one thing I can say did I truly love about this deck is that this deck gave me a fresh outlook on how to conduct my readings. I used to do traditional three card and 10 card readings for myself. The three card readings would always represent the past, present, and future and sometimes that got a little old/stale to me. In the introduction section of her book, Sonia suggested a three card reading where the first card represents the best way to look at the situation or question. The second card represents what would best help to move or shift the energy around the question or situation. The third card represents something that you may be overlooking related to the question or situation. I found using this method to be very, very effective for me. And I really appreciate that! As for the material, the cards themselves are very sturdy and hard and plastic like so they will last you a long time and the little booklet which comes with the cards is very helpful in explaining and clarifying each message in more detail. For example, the card might read "Cloak yourself in light" and the booklet will explain how to do it and why you may need to do it now. We've been using this deck for years now and the cards look as good as new.Since we love this deck so much, the readings completely resonate with us and we get spot on messages from our Higher selves, our Superconscious mind or spiritual guides or guardian angels or Source or Consciousness or whatever you may want to call it or attribute it to.
