I’ve had ridges in my nails forever. Not sure what caused them but I got my hands smashed in a folding lawn chair when I was a kid. I was too young to remember but it must have been bad because I ended up in the ER and that was in the ‘50’s when you had be pretty bad for your parents to take you there. Nothing broke just looked really flat from what my Mom told me. It was just the beginning of many trips to the ER for me. Yup, one of those kids. My nails have gotten worse with age and now split easily up the nail and get chipped at the ends and snag on things. This filler has a pretty big brush and is thick so it goes on pretty easily. It dries pretty quick, looks dry in 2-3 min and is not sticky after about 5-7 min. I think to get an even texture on my nails and fill in all the ridges it takes 2 coats. But wait to let it thoroughly dry before the second coat or it makes a mess. It lasts well for about a week to 10 days unless you do something with your hands in water for some time and then it’ll start looking wrinkled and start peeling. I tried using a top coat to make it last longer but it did the same thing. I don’t have a lot of experience with fingernail polish since I’m a 66 yr old man. I feel like my nails feel stronger after doing this for a few months but they do still chip on the ends. I’ve started filing my nails instead of cutting them and that has helped a bit too. I might try a different ridge filler to see if it lasts longer but I’m happy with this one for now. I think it’s a good product and would recommend it for someone with some serious ridges and weak nails. What I’d like to do is get a coat on the tips or front of the nail and keep them from chipping. This brush is too big and puts too much on to do that and it ends up under the nail which just feels weird and I’m not sure it’s a good place to have nail polish.

In this era of the virus, I had to stop my nearly 25 year "habit" of first acrylic nails and then about 10 years ago gel nails in various forms. I am 60. My nails have ridges (hereditary occurrence) and are pretty brittle. On a couple of my nails the ridges reach the end of the nail and split and tear or break. Then they snag clothes or tear and are painful. No wonder I've been covering them for so long! I have always loved my manicures, but they are not going to be a part of my life until after the virus is well under the radar. I purchased 4 different ridge filler/strengthening products - this Nail Tec #3 was one. It says "ridge filler for hard, brittle nails". PROS First, as a ridge filler, it works - after about 4 coats. It finishes with a matte, very slight transparent white. After about 4 coats, you nail surface looks smooth and since it's not a shiny gloss finish, they look more natural. I was really happy about how quickly each layer dried. Very fast, no assistance in drying. It stays on for several days. CONS Haven't found one yet. So far, this is definitely worth the effort and cash. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

I made a mistake and bought the wrong # set!!! #3 is for hard and brittle nails. Which I don't have! I needed # 2, for Soft Peeling Nails. Also I Need #4, for WEAK, DAMAGED NAILS. Which mine are very thin and Weak, Flake or SPLIT EASILY. Words from packaging. I hope the seller reads this, for I know this product works, I just purchased the wrong two pack bottles 4. I need #2 and #3 Packages. I'll be glad to purchase those 2, and return the unused #4 set. Thank you very much. Best Regards, Sue

Yes, if the ridges are deep, you need 2 coats. But as mentioned by others, I love the matte and natural finish The base coat product seems to work.. too soon to tell. The last one, moisturizer … well the instrucciones call for daily use, I thought it was an oil but it is an actual polish. Not sure how I feel about daily applications so only doing it twice. And I did get 4 bottles of that one :( Update: I have been using this product consistently for weeks now. The nails are stronger, however it chips between a couple of days. No wonder they suggest to apply the top coat daily.

I am in love with this product. My nails have always been strong and grow fast; however, within the last year or so I began to develope ridges. I don't know why, but I did, and they would show through my nail polish. I put 2 coats of this on, waiting an hour between coats, then another coat on my left pinky and ring finger because those ridges are the most pronounced. Wow! the surface is now smooth. Sure the ridges are still a bit apparent close up, but the surface is smooth. I would be okay with a clear top coat without being concerned over the ridges. But with a coat of color the lines will be indistinguishable. I know other reviewers say to only use 1 coat, but use what you feel is necessary. It's your product! I would whole-heartedly recommend this product.

J'ai découvert ce magnifique produit et je n'ai plus besoin d'aller en salon. Ce produit recouvre les ongles et camoufle les petites bosses. La première couche appliquée, j'en ai appliqué une autre couche, le produit seche rapidement. Mes ongles sont très abimés j'ai donc mis plusieurs couches. C'est un recouvrement sur l'ongle existant. Pas besoin de pinceau, de lampes etc...rien de compliqué !

Produkt ist Müll Nicht mit dem alten Produkt zu vergleichen. Eine braune Plörre die den Nagel einfach nur hässlich aussehen lässt.

Prodotto conforme alla descrizione. L’unica cosa è che le istruzioni sono in polacco (credo) nessuna indicazione in inglese.
