Thor Glass Toon Tumbler

Well, not exactly, but it's contained IN a glass that bears the image of the Marvel Thunder God. I ordered these to replace two of the Batman glasses my hubby recently broke (hey, I have to represent both DC and Marvel in my household!) and they are perfect. Nice and sturdy, these are a weighty glass and the image is crisp, not fuzzy in the slightest. I have a feeling that it'll take more than just one drop to break these, not that I'm planning to let that happen, mind you.Wonderful :)EDIT:I apparently spoke too soon. It's not the sturdiness of the glass that's suspect, but upon the FIRST washing (by hand, gently, mind you) the image started peeling off. I now have a headless Thor and only about 20% of the image remaining on the other glass. Very sad for me :( I was so excited about these being so awesome. I'm really disappointed. Subtracting 3 stars because nowhere does it mention that even hand washing these glasses will cause the image to come off completely.

I have ordered 2 of these since I keep managing to drop and break them. The first one was great but the 2nd one, after a few hand washes, all of the image came off. Now it's just a plain glass.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my dad it came on time and it’s as described.

I bought this for a Thor-fanatic and he loved it. I should have bought more it's the only cup he uses now. Quality is great and it stands up well in the dishwasher

One wash in the dishwasher wiped out 1/2 of the decal. Don't spend $15 for a $1 tumbler which is what you'll have unless you want to hand wash it all the time.

like other reviewer have said, this glass looks fantastic although I wish the company had the confidence to create the glass without slapping their name, website, and copyright info on the back. That didn't bother me to much since all the attention is on the great Thor illustration. Unfortunately, you probably won't get to look at that illustration long because if you wash this glass with more than just rinsing it off under the sink the decal is probably going to start coming off. I have plenty of glasses with much more intricate designs that you can run through the dishwasher all day long. not really sure why they can't make something a bit sturdier here as well

So sad - this was a gift for my father and within six months of having it the picture has completely peeled off. We don't put it in the dishwasher, only hand wash. I want another one but I don't even feel right spending the money because it's really not well made.
