flavor for the right price
Sumac is great on rice and everything else you want to impart a citrusy flavor. This particular brand of sumac has a full bodied flavor profile with a tart top note. Personally, I like my sumac a bit finer ground and uniform in size. So I put it in my mortar and ground it down a bit before I use it. Regarding taste and flavor, this brand gives you a good quality product, and the price reflects that. Definitely will buy again.

Great flavor to any dish
This is a great way to add flavor to many dishes. My Lebanese friend introduced me to this spice. Sumac is like course paprika with a citrus flavor. Fabulous for BBQ chicken, fish and shrimp. I wish it came in a larger size!

Love the spice
I have not yet used it in cooking but I tasted it with my fingers and took a pinch and I love to flavor the aroma the the lemony it's an awesome spice I I really really I'm going to enjoy this I just haven't figured out exactly what I'm going to use it for and in as far as cooking goes it's going to be a wonderful addition to my kitchen thank you very much appreciate it

VERY DISAPPOINTED
I got it today. The product was not fresh, it looked brownish and with an awful flavor. the paper interior seal was detached .Feel very disappointed and ๐ก since there is no way to return it and get it changed. I feel SCAMMED!!
