In my opinion the absolute best dampening grease for high-end items that only need a small amount.
This is fantastic dampening grease. I bought it to rebuild a vintage Bogen-Manfrotto fluid action tripod head. The results were amazing it felt better than brand new, nice and smooth. The one thing I can say is this stuff is sticky, have rags and some sort of solvent available for cleanup. normal dish soap will not wash this stuff off your hands. This came highly recommended from a camera shop and I have no regrets. my only con at all, it is pretty hard to squeeze out of that tiny tube. I wish I had purchased a small jar instead. It takes such a small amount to coat things, so that is a plus.

Washing Machine Rod Rehabilitation - Perfect Viscosity
Samsung washer had the infamous Death Wobble. This grease is perfect for that. The stock suspension rods were changed out, but the new ones only lasted 6 months before THE WOBBLE was back. Whatever slave labor is putting these things together in China is not really greasing them with the care you or I would take, and that grease is all that matters. Once the plastic caps have buffed all the grease down to nothing, the jumping will ensue. Metal collars were also installed to limit the upper travel of the spring's cap, but these are almost certainly irrelevant. When greasing the rods, 4 lines of grease were laid on each area where the cap can travel. The upper and lower portions of the spring cap were separated to allow the introduction of grease all through the space where the cap sits without any loading on it. Once it is loaded with the weight of the washer, that zone will be the upper range of travel, so you want that greased to prevent upward jumping. Upward jumping is the heart of the problem. The grease prevents that and the metal collars constitute a hard upper limit should the grease fail. But to restate, those collars are not being touched at all if the grease is properly applied. You don't need much grease, but it needs to be on all sliding contact surfaces. The end result was perfection, performing like it did the day it was purchased. *** 30 Day Update :( The grease is again not working. I suspect once the machine starts jumping, the plastic caps get worn down a bit, making it that much harder for the grease to do its job. So I compressed each one with the metal collars and we will see how preloading the springs might help. *** Even Later Update :( Having bought better grease and applied *large* amounts thereof, I can tell you all the grease on God's green earth will buy you a month or maybe six weeks before the problem comes back. I've succumbed and purchased OEM rods to the tune of about $300 a set.

Very smooth
I have not used this for the intended application of binocular focuser/hinge, but worked very well on a vintage turret i disassembled and cleaned. Smooth, firm turn with solid locking at the detents. Very good product.

It takes a few applications to really build it up, but it works great once you get the joint fully lubricated. primarily used for my flight stick.

Perfect for fixing your shaking and banging washing machine!
I issues with my washing machine shaking and banging around like crazy during the spin cycle. After watching numerous tutorials on Youtube and figuring out what I needed to do, I took on the task of repairing the suspension rods. This was recommended as the type of dampening grease to use for the repair. Its a pain to get out of the tube but after hours of struggling, I was able to fill the rods up with the grease and stop the shaking and banging. I didn't even need to get new rods. My washing machine has been running perfectly for months. Word of caution when using this stuff, WEAR GLOVES AND HAVE PLENTY OF PAPER TOWELS. It is very very tacky and hard to clean off anything it gets on.

Product great - needs different container (edited)
I had the same experience as Douglas. This product is to viscous and sticky (which is exactly what you want) that a lot of pressure is required to squeeze it from the tube, and the poor tube just isn't up to it - it splits at the bottom. Great product, just please put it in a better packaging. EDIT: A couple weeks after posting the review above - I received a box from Jason at Redilast. Inside was a new tube plus two jars of 767A, and a letter stating they've increased the strength of their tubes from 50lbs up to 100. The pic above shows the old tube on the right and the new tube on the left. The new tube does have more plastic in the seam area, so I'm hopeful it will holds up better. This is some great customer service. I always say it's not whether problems happen (problems happen), it's how you handle them. And this was handled well. Thank you Jason. Based on this I'm revising my review up to 4 stars. And a tip to other buyers - when I purchased the tube of 767A, I was unaware that jars were available (and full honesty, I didn't look. I just ordered the first thing that popped up). For a material this thick and sticky, the jar is probably a better option.

Great Grease for HOTAs Sticks/Throttles!
Packaging: Shipped in a simple plastic bag in a white Amazon plastic sleeve. Product Impressions: Quality is top notch. You get what you pay for! It is a bit hard to get out of the tube but the tube was mostly filled and the grease is working wonders on my ThrustMaster joystick/throttle set. Be sure to watch YouTube videos on how to apply or else you'll make a mess! Usability: Works for HOTAs systems of various kinds, has various other applications as well! Overall Thoughts: VERY nice quality but pricey.
