Great for small spaces!
Updated 2/25/2021 Ended up returning the elliptical not because there's anything wrong with it but because there's something wrong with me! I have bad ankles and this elliptical made them hurt. My guess is that it's because of the small stride because a full size elliptical never bothered my ankles. Re-boxing and returning the item was easy. My refund was issued as soon as I dropped it off at the drop off location. Original Review Have had this product for one week now and this is my review of it at this point. Will update if anything changes. I purchased this particular elliptical because I live in a tiny basement apartment, about 300 sq ft, and have no room for a full size elliptical. This one fits nicely in the space next to my dresser. The video in the ad shows the woman effortlessly putting this elliptical on a shelf. This unit weighs 25 lbs. I can lug it around but not carry it around easily. I suggest lifting something that weighs 25 lbs to get a realistic idea of how heavy it will be. As expected, this unit has a very small stride. Thats fine for me because I'm only 5 ft tall with short legs. A tall person might not like it. It took a few tries to get my rhythm right so it was smooth pedalling. But after some practice (and reading the instructions! LOL) I can now keep it going. You have to put your feet at the front of the pedals if you're using it standing up, and make sure the unit is turned so that the handle is to the back. You should be able to read the display while you're standing on it. If the display is upside down, it's turned the wrong way. I included a picture of the instructions for that. I am not coordinated enough to use this elliptical without holding on to something. Maybe someday. It works perfect to put my kitchen chair in front of it. I like to set it up in front of the door so I can bird watch while I'm pedalling. I thought about returning this elliptical and purchasing another one made by the same company that has handles but takes up the same floor space. It also has a larger stride. It costs $30 more. I'm still thinking that through. Overall, this product is well made and serves it's purpose well as long as you don't expect it to perform like the big ones at the gym. Would recommend.

Works well if you're seated but fairly useless as a standing elliptical
TLDR: great to use under your desk, not the best as a standing elliptical. *I'm editing to add this my review because I've been using this thing for a couple years now. I actually have been able to make it work as a standing elliptical, although the stride is still short and I definitely suggest facing a wall or placing a chair backwards in front of you in case you lose your balance. I'm 5'3 and the stride is even a little too short for me so don't buy this as a standing elliptical if you're even slightly taller than me. That being said, it doesn't take up much space or need to be plugged in and it's held up well for the 2 years I've had it. I am overall really glad I bought this. It also still does a fantastic job as an under-the-desk elliptical!* Pros: 1. Pretty quiet (not silent but definitely not disruptive) 2. Fairly lightweight and portable - small for an elliptical but still not something you'd want to lug around everywhere 3. Super easy to change the resistance 4. Arrived already assembled 5. I've been using it for months with nothing breaking 6. It has pads on the bottom so you won't scratch up the floor moving it Cons: 1. Stride is incredibly short and kind of shallow so even a short person can't safely use this while standing. 2. I wish there was an option to increase the resistance even more but honestly that's not a huge deal I gave this 4 stars because it works super well for what I needed but doesn't do everything it promised to do because it's completely unusable as a standing elliptical. I planned to use it for keeping my legs moving while I'm sitting at work all day. It works great if you're seated and has helped me remember to sit with better posture. It also seems to help the circulation in my legs (sometimes my feet start to fall asleep if I'm sitting for too long) because I can mindlessly use my elliptical while I work. It's very quiet and I've been able to use it during zoom meetings without issues. It is loud enough that someone sitting in your office with you would be able to hear a whirring sound, but it's honestly really unobtrusive and I haven't had anyone complain once they ask what the sound is and I explain. I love that you can easily change the resistance and that I can pick it up to move it to different rooms of the office or even take it home if I'm working from home. I've also seen that some people put this on a table and use it for their arms. I have no desire to do that but I'm sure it would work fine for that purpose. However, if you're looking for an elliptical with a small footprint to use while standing, please save yourself the money and hassle because this will not work. I'm fairly short (5'3) and the stride on this thing is so short that it hurts my shins after less than a minute if I'm standing. I suggest looking into a different brand with a longer stride and probably handlebars if you want to use it while standing. I have good balance and I'm pretty small but the unnatural stride makes me feel unsteady.

Well Built
Purchased this equipment to help with multiple issues with my legs /feet. I am wheelchair bound with occasional use of a walker. Diabetic with neuropathy, bone on bone knees, a rod screwed to my femur bone from a fall. and to top it off 95yrs trailing behind me. After a week of using the machine, I do notice my knees feeling better. It has taken some time getting used to it. My feet want to come out of the pedals when I first start it up, but gradually tend to stay in place better the longer I use it. I feel like i need straps to strap my feet to the pedals. Will look into some Velcro straps to fasten my feet to the pedals. I am impressed so far with the quality of the device. Plenty of weight to keep it stationary when using it. I of course have used it only with motor/automatic mode. I really like the automatic reversal of the pedal's direction. I hope after some time I will see improvements to my condition. So far it is a worthwhile purchase.

Precisely as advertised
Purchased the standing elliptical (it has a handle). Completely satisfied with it. Small foot print just slightly larger than my stepper. Easy to assemble for us non mechanical types, excellent price, quiet and it works. Pretty much all I ask. Note: This is not a gym machine it is a small home machine so buyers should adjust their expectations accordingly. Update: The single flaw I have found is the placement of the foot pedals. I'm petite, 5'3" with a slender, small boned frame. The pedals cannot be adjusted inward. My stance on this machine is my that my feet are placed wider apart than shoulder width. This becomes uncomfortable as well as a little unstable feeling, and, as a result, I use the machine less frequently than I do my traditional stepper. I want to love it but, alas, I only like it. A way to adjust the pedals inward would have made this machine perfect.

Worked well till broken
I really liked this mini-elliptical when it was working well during the first month. The exercise was effective and I lost weight while I managed to use it for 45 minutes to 1 hour on daily basis. Then things went south. The left wheel started leaking white power sometimes and some greasy black washer fell off. I could see some compartments inside the wheel were broken and that's where the power came off from. Then one day after 2 months, the wheel was finally busted and rendered the machine useless.

Broke after 6 months
Update: BROKE AFTER 6 MONTHS!!! DO NOT BUY!! Ok, I’ve been using another brand pretty regularly but when it broke again I decided to try a new one that might actually last a year for a change. I use this 4 times a week, go 7 miles each time and I only use it standing. That’s probably more use than it is intended for and I will update when it breaks. So this one is not smooth, it feels sticky, a lot more like actual walking than an elliptical should feel. It’s more jarring than expected. You also need to lean forward into a kind of unnatural position to get a good rhythm going. The attached tracker seemed to work ok although I use my watch to gauge distance. I clicked the resistance up to 4, which isn’t very high, and I can feel it today in my legs. I like that it came fully assembled, you just take it out of the box and it’s ready to go and the handle is great so I can easily pop it in front of the TV when I need to use it and then put it away when I’m done. It’s a little wider than my last one so it feels like my legs are farther apart but the bottoms of my feet don’t get pins and needles like the other one gave me. It’s quiet but I just got it. So far it works and that’s the main thing I care about. Will update as I encounter issues.

Keeps me from gaining MORE weight while stuck at home
I wanted something small and easy to grab a few steps periodically throughout the work day at home. I have a full size elliptical at home, but that doesn't provide a quick method of getting my blood pumping in-between meetings. I can get my heart rate up within minutes and get some steps in without any prep work or wasted time. You don't get the same leg extension as a full machine, but my tracker recognizes it as an eliptical when I am working out on it. It's super quiet, so I can hop on and get some steps in while on a meeting. The reviews about black goo are spot on, if you touch the pedal legs you get a grease smear, I imagine the washers, etc, are melting. I lube it up once a week with WD-40 and it has lasted for 3 months through my 20 min of morning routine and multiple mini jaunts each day. If it breaks down at this point it was worth the investment, but it looks like it would be easy enough to replace parts, so I am hopeful this will be around for a while.

NOT for standing, like it says
Ergonomically, it is awful. I'm not a picky person, but the pedals do not sit flat when you are moving in motion and your foot reaches the lowest point. Instead, the pedal is at a 30 degree angle , and your toes are way higher than your heel. I was using the machine correctly, and it was turned for standing, not sitting. I have tried 3 compact standing/sitting ellipticals, and the other 2 at the very least, had your foot flat, when reaching the bottom of the ellipse. If you use this one, you must lean forward, and hold something, and it's basically like a stepper, due to the angle of the pedals. I have another compact elliptical that works great, but is very noisy, and sadly the quality is lacking, so I won't suggest it. It seems nobody is making a great quality super compact standing elliptical yet. It's 2021, come on man!

Paddle Handel washer ring broke after few uses
I’ve used it for under desk exercises only ( never stood on ), however after two weeks of use and during the exercise at level 3 a washer fall of and the paddling arm become lose and started to make lots of noise. Considering the high label price for this item it should have been premium quality and heavy duty. I’m totally unsatisfied.

Short stride
It is a small unit, and does not take much space. However, it is quite heavy, so it's not like you would want to move in and out all the time. I find that the stride is much too short for me though, like taking those tiny stairs that I would normally take 2 at a time, but I can't so it's annoying. I am taller than average though.
