After probably a few dozen washings the crease is still visible. **Q: Do they shrink after washing** A: They won't shrink after washing if you care for them properly. The definition of care-for-them-properly is: Wash in COLD water only. Do NOT tumble dry, not even low temperature otherwise you will see at least some shrinkage. Instead, hang dry (I used skirt hangers to hang them dry) or lie them down flat on a drying rack. **Q: Do these pants attract lint?** A: I have not noticed any attraction of lint on my 874's. Wish that Dickie would make the old 874 with the flex inseam again. But in the meantime these are truly the best work pants on the market. It's made from a very stiff material, almost like canvas. Survives hundreds of washes and a lot of stains! Very tough pockets and loops. They are a bit tight at the waist, so I suggest going up two inches from your usual jean size. These will stand up to just about anything but soaked motor oil. The length is perfect as it sits a little below my ankle, but I did have to size up on the waist size. Since it is mens pants, there's no room for your hips when you're pulling them up, so be sure to size up at least once or twice. I sized up once and they fit perfectly. The women's version of these pants suck and are more tapered so I recommend you get these instead as the pant legs are more straight and they're much cheaper. The quality is overall great and you can dress them up or down.
