I love them the sharp. They’re safe. They’re versatile. They’re stable. They’re good to have.

Once again Amazon stocked an item I never knew existed, but was the perfect solution for an issue I was having (pinning a protective blanket onto a couch so the dog could lay on it). Highly satisfied.

The listing clearly states that these safety pins will leave a hole in fabric and that is very much true. These safety pins don't really have a very sharp point to them. I use them in my RV to pin all of my blankets to the end of the mattress so they don't keep slipping off to the floor. It is VERY DIFFICULT to poke these pin through the fabric of my blankets. I have to push really hard to get them to poke through. Once in place, they are great. They are HUGE and sturdy - they stay in place. I do think these would be better for any application other than fabric, and I am going to look for different safety pins to hold my blankets on my RV mattress. However, these are as advertised and likely have many uses.

This is a REALLY STRONG safety pin. I actually couldn't open it. If you can open it, it could be a good key ring.

I use this to hold my dishcloth on my oven door. It’s actually used in commercial restaurants to secure aprons. It’s also used for key rings but my keys don’t fit on it. But I would recommend them for holding outside tarps and tablecloths together etc.

Can't believe that I am writing a review about jumbo safety pins, but here goes... These days, I rarely encounter a product (purchased online) that "lives up" to the advertising description. This product does. I needed a few heavy duty safety pins to keep the backside of a large couch cushion cover attached, without slipping off (since the cover zipper no longer works). These safety pins work great! Excellent quality, very large, and certainly heavy duty! My wife thinks that these pins would work well with a kilt, too. I highly recommend this product.

I bought these pins to hold a lumbar support pillow against the back of a mesh chair. I read the description cautioning that the pins will leave a large hole in fabric, but I didn’t care since I was fine with visible punctures on the back of the lumbar support and the chair is mesh anyway. What I did not appreciate from the description is that only the very tip of the pin is sharp and it’s followed by a very small/short taper. This makes it SUPER difficult to push the pin through much of anything. The design won’t let it slide through. I finally got two of them through my lumbar support but it was far from trivial to do. After the set up the pins are holding great. Quality of the material is high and the color is silver as described.
