Best and most comfortable boots I’ve ever ridden in. The grip on the bottom makes mounting and keeping balance in your stirrups so much easier, for both English and Western riding. They are sturdy with a reinforced toe box and ankle support. Just like any other equestrian boot, they are stiff and tight for the first few wears but after about 12 hours of use are fitted well. Cannot speak to their longevity as I’ve only had them a week but have fallen in love with them already. Bonus points for being pretty and easy to zip up! Highly recommend.

These are really great riding boots at a great price point. They look like leather and seem very sturdy with a reinforced toe. They are stylish and so far comfortable but we'll se after wearing them a bit longer. They can be worn on other occasions.

Runs tight. Stiff shoe which is good for horses but breaks in slow. Solid shoe. Handles the mud/water well. Great value for money.

Purchased for my daughter's trip to horse camp. She said they were very comfortable. Even after heavy use they still look great. Durable and good value.

I ordered a 8 1/2 but I’m more like 8 so they are a little big for me but didn’t want to wait for an exchange so I kept them. Most important thing is when they say synthetic leather it means plastic. You will have your socks soaked in sweat if you wear them by hot weather. Besides that, like any plastic boots, they always look new and shiny. No maintenance needed. The problem is even though they don’t get the fold marks behind the toes they pierced quite rapidly in that spot. But I wear them a good six hours a day and walk a lot. I think I’ll buy them again because it’s a great price and even the very expensive ones don’t last much longer. The zipper works, they are comfortable and waterproof except for around the zipper.

Mu daughter loved these boots. For an avid rider, these are great quality and will take a beating. Look great as well.

Comparison of Ovation brand to Tuffrider. Both size 9.5, both fit the foot/true to size. Ovation brand: For not too much more money, you get a way better, safer, well made shoe with Ovation. Firm toe to protect from being stepped on. Has a good arch suport and inside lining that I don’t sweat in. Footbed is firm, but cushioned. Slightly wider foot width. Zipper is high quality, smooth and has a nice round pull tab. Not a baggy look, but firm and proper uppers. Stirrup location is well made. Takes a few hours of wearing to break in. Synthetic leather, good in water. Tuffrider: Starting, kid type riding shoe, cheaply made. Comfortable feel out of the box, but they wont last. Toe is soft. Won’t hold up to a horses hoof. Ankle is 1” or 2” larger. Baggy look when on. Zipper works but not smooth. Average pull tab. Heel is lower. Other reviewers mention the bottom sole splits in a few months of use. Synthetic, good in water. I kept the Ovation. There are much more expensive riding boots out there, but this boot is a good vale for the money.

Great boot for the casual rider!

Taille correctement , matériaux de bonne qualité, néanmoins elles ne sont pas très confortables et sont très rigides à l’arrière du talon. Très joli design , dommage pour le confort.
