A wonderfully simple and stylish addition to my bedroom. I use it every evening for 6 or so hours and need to charge it every 3-4 days. It has a cable, so you can have it plugged in all the time but I keep it where there's no socket, hence charging every now and then. I have it for months now and it works well

This light is even better than described. Originally bought one as a Father’s Day gift for my husband but shortly afterwards bought a second as we were so pleased with it. Have used mostly in the garden as an atmospheric lighting feature but also in the home. Love the choice of colours and the automatic switch-on when natural light fades outside. Lamp stays on most of the night in the summer - less during the winter, but power can easily be topped up with the USB provided. You can set on one colour or to rotate through all the colour options. Good value for money.

If only I’d tested it before return window closed. I already had one which has worked perfectly for a number of years so bought three more. Two for gifts and another for myself. Mine does not work and I dare not ask if the gifts work. You can charge it and it will light up for a couple of hours max then dies - no matter which setting it is on. The battery is a duffer and won’t keep its charge. I’ve had to bin it:(

I bought this to replace a similar light bought on the high street, which had lasted ten years. Given my experience of these types of lights, my expectations were not particularly high. However, my first impression was that these lights are solid and very well engineered, particularly in terms of the way the electronics are sealed. They are not the usual weak flakey products you tend to get from the PRC that pack up after one summer. Given the build quality, I see no reason why this shouldn't last as well as the last one. I've read comments on here about the battery not lasting. The instructions state that in outdoor mode, the light will automatically shut down after seven hours after coming on. This is to conserve battery life. Also bear in mind that the rechargeable battery will not last forever, which will largely depend on recharging patterns, but it is replaceable. You can even replace it with a higher capacity battery if you wish The information for this is all in the instructions. The only negative for me is that there is no remote control option like my last one. That means you have to pull it out of the ground to change the light settings. This is a pain and could also potentially shorten the life of the product through unnecessary weakening of the waterproof switch seals underneath. I will probably just leave it on colour changing mode by default anyway, so hopefully it won't become an issue.

I have now ordered four of these lights. The first two are absolutely brilliant. They look good, turn on and off automatically and, after the first initial charge have shone brightly every night. The third one I ordered refused to turn on automatically at dusk and was returned for replacement Unfortunately, the replacement had the same fault .... A faulty batch maybe? I will leave it a few weeks and order two more which hopefully will work as good as the first two. So, five stars for the first two and zero for the second two!

Charges outside really well, and gives off a good amount of light, this that little bit of something as the evening draws in. Definitely can recommend!

Bought 2 initially just to see how they are, and they look fantastic. My only trouble i have is during the day they are still on. I have checked the switch and they are definitely set to solar. Very peculiar EDIT: just me being silly. They give off a purplish tint during the day when they are off, but they last so long durng the night. Fantastic kit!
