Question 1

i want to buy this but i have a big doubt, my graphic card on my pc need to support 4k or have something special to use this monitor at 3840 x 2160?

Accepted Answer

Only 2 cabling standards currently support 4K @60hz. DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0. So you'll need to make sure your graphics card supports either of these 2 standards. HDMI 2.0 is very recent, so generally, only the most recent of graphics cards support it. DisplayPort 1.2 has been around longer, so if you bought your card within the last few years, you should be fine getting 4K @60hz via DisplayPort. If you only have DisplayPort 1.1 and/or HDMI 1.4 ports on your graphics card, then you can still get 4K resolution, but you will be restricted to only 30hz refresh rate. Just make sure to double check by looking up your graphics cards specifications on the manufacturers website. Hope this helps.

Question 2

Is either monitor mountable on a stand?? (e.g. a dual monitor stand) There are no images of the back nor is there mention of it

Accepted Answer

It is but its a very poor implementation, I have mine mounted on a single arm monitor stand and my other 2 mounted on a twin monitor stand, I have to have the monitor stand with this monitor mounted past the highest setting as the mount is right at the top centre, This also makes it abit wobbly in comparison to the other 2.

Question 3

Question from seller/manufacturer. what does native resolution mean and why is lower than uhd? specifications say native resolution 2045 x 1080 pixels

Accepted Answer

I believe this is a typo. Native resolution just means the resolution of the device (LCD/Flat panels cannot adjust resolution so therefore it just means their manufactured resolution).
I am using this screen and it is running 4k (not 2045 x 1080) it would be my understanding that this is just a typo.

Question 4

Is this monitor capable of 1080p 60hz output for my PS4 console?

Accepted Answer

Yes it is it can can also go 4k to. So whenever Sony announce the playstation 4k at least you got a monitor that can do its job.
