MD Notebook Paper Cover - Cardoba -A5

This cover fits an A5 Midori MD notebook perfectly and really adds to the experience of using it. The material feels sturdy and well-made, offering good protection while still keeping the minimalist look that Midori is known for. It’s slim enough not to add bulk, which makes it easy to carry around. My only wish is that it came in more colors. The simple design is great, but having a variety of options would make it more personal and fun to switch out. Still, it does exactly what it should—keeps the notebook safe and looking good. A great accessory for anyone who uses Midori notebooks regularly.

This is an affordable, reusable, and surprisingly sturdy feeling cover that fits snugly on my Midori MD A5 notebook. When placed in the cover, the notebook feels like a tough clothbound type of cover. I was skeptical at first about the stitched cardboard, but I now see that this is an asthetically pleasing and tough, if minimalist solution to protecting your minimalist Midori MD notebooks. Hopefully I will remember to update my review after several weeks and months of use. If the butter-like surface of Midori's MD paper is what you need, buying the notebooks with a single cover that can hopefully last several notebook cycles is an economic solution for writing on premium, fountain pen-friendly paper. It doesn't necessarily look like a notebook that Indiana Jones would carry, but the fact that the notebook/cover combo doesn't draw attention to itself is potentially a plus for many people. You can now count me as a genuine Midori fanboy!

Thin and light weight. Tan cover good quality. Lays flat. A little hard to get in at first. Probably won’t last for ever but for the price easy to replace. It’ll definitely last a few notebooks.

This cover is a beautiful light pinky-peach and fits the Midori MD A5 perfectly. It is paper, but is indeed quite sturdy and almost evokes natural leather with its embossed front logo and top/bottom stitching (there is a natural leather one, but besides being spendy I like that the color of the paper cover will remain mostly intact). The cover may fade a tiny bit over time as well as absorb stains and smudges, but I’ve been pretty careless/rough and personally don’t notice a huge difference. Picture is of one that’s been used for ~4 months vs a new one.

I love this cover. Definitely is more durable than it seem from photos. I throw it in my bag everyday and I love the feel and even the smell (but I am a stationary head)

This cover is surprisingly sturdy. Im not worried about it getting torn at all. The stamped logos are a nice aesthetic touch. It's definitely pink, more of a beige pink but definitely leaning more on the pink side. It has a nice soft feel to it.

Minimal, Lightweight, and Beautifully Functional I bought the Midori MD Notebook Paper Cover (Cordoba) in A5 to use with my MD notebook, and it fits perfectly. The texture is simple and elegant, very much in line with Midori’s minimalist design philosophy. Over time, the cover develops natural creases, which gives it a unique, lived-in character rather than looking worn out. While it’s not waterproof and needs a bit of care, that’s expected for a paper cover. If you appreciate Japanese stationery, minimal design, and a cover that ages beautifully, this is a great choice. Highly recommended for MD notebook users.

This is great quality especially considering it’s constructed from paper. Is seamed. Sturdy. And the price is unbeatable. No need for a bulky leather cover. It’s a win!
