Because this could be used for furnaces with multiple ignition sources it does have some extra components built-in. There is a knob on top which makes this unit about an inch and a half taller than the one I replaced, this was sort of a problem because I had to turn this unit facing down inside my furnace in order to reattach the front cover to my furnace.
