20 times I’ve seen on TV how you can patch a leather couch with some kind of pasty painting looking thing. Always thought that it looked kind of fake on television. But when our leather couch got split in it, I decided to try this. It actually worked pretty well. But, it didn’t really last. I’m not sure if it’s meant to. It probably lasted about a month or so maybe two. But, I also have kids who jump on the couch. So what can you say? Luckily, it comes with plenty of the liquidy stuff. So, when we were going to have a party, my wife reminded me that I had to repatch the couch. So far, we’re coming on a month and it still looks pretty decent. I also used it to cover some scratches. I’ve never compared it to anything else so I’m not sure if it’s a value for the money. But it’s way cheaper than buying a new couch just to fix a hole. I don’t mind doing this a bunch of times until my youngest gets old enough to stop jumping on the couch. So in that way, I guess it is value for the money. It was pretty easy to use. They give you a color chart so that you can try to match it. If the couch is older, like ours, you may have to make several different mixes to get a good match for different spots on the couch or whatever it is, you’re trying to patch up. But all in all it’s pretty good. And if you don’t get the color just right and you have kids, you can just blame it on them and say they spilled something on the couch or something like that. That’s what I told my wife when she said “the match is not perfect.” You can see from the picture that my patch job was not perfect. But, it definitely was good enough.

We had some problems at the top of our couch where seams came together. Looked terrible. I spoke to a local repair shop and they said we had to redo the whole couch. I thought I would try this inside to save a thousand dollars. It worked. Color matching was great and the coat worked. While I know it was not exactly what the kit was made for it worked. I just used a little patch and then covered with a coat. Great price and no one can even tell unless you were looking for it.

Very easy to mix and matched my dark brown leather well. It originally repaired 3 rips I had in my leather sofa but eventually rubbed off, because we sit on the couch daily, so the holes reappeared. This would be perfect if the area is not used often. My cat also put claw holes in the arm, and those were covered nicely and did not rub off.

These tubes helped to make my couches look brand new! Easy to use! I didn't need all the colors, but the ones I used matched perfectly.

Work so much better than I thought it would. I figured the chair was eventually going to need to go it was looking so bad. Have had it for over 20 years. The tear took four passes over 3 days. Still visible but so much better. The rest of the chair has been nicely restored.

Just applied this yesterday and based on looks, color matching, ease and everything else I’d say it’s five stars. I just hope the repair will last for awhile. It’s why I only gave it four stars

I was a little nervous after reading the instructions and trying to get the color and application just right. But it's very user friendly and I quickly lost my fear. We had 2 recliners and a couch that we were selling. The couch was in pretty good shape, just a few minor scratches. But the recliners, although in good physical shape cuz they're La-Z-Boy brand, the leather was getting quite worn cuz the recliners had been used a lot for 15 years.. We wanted to fix up the coloring on all the wear spots (arms, seats, foot rests.) Wow, we both were amazed at how good they looked! After a while I wasn't super careful, just painting on the dye and then wiping off to get a layered effect. I definitely wasn't as precise about the application as the directions suggest. I tested it out on one tiny area that wasn't obvious in case it didn't look good. The next day we thought it looked pretty good so I just went at it. Amazing!!! Some of the best money I've spent in a long time. The kit includes patch material for rips, but I didn't use that so I cannot comment on how well that works. TIP: I would suggest wearing disposable gloves. I did so much "painting" with the dye and was so carefree with it that I ended up with a lot of dye on my hands and under my fingernails. It washed off with a little effort but on my dominant hand there was still residue under my nails and in the cracks of my dry skin for a few days. It wasn't a big deal for my lifestyle, but if you need your hands to look nice then be sure to wear gloves! Oh, I have a lot of dye leftover too. A little goes a long way. I covered A LOT of area of the recliners. So if you're going to be using it on furniture that you are keeping then this little kit is well worth getting. It'll be enough to do touch-ups for years to come. I really wish I would've gotten it sooner and enjoyed the outcome instead of waiting to fix up the leather for the next owners. 😉

Complete garbage. Everything was unusable aside from the white colour. All of the seals were not intact, and the colour inside had gone hard.

Easy to follow instructions, and so far has worked really well. Used it to patch up small-ish holes on my parent's leather couch, doesn't 100% return the couch to it's original state, but covered up just enough that you'll only notice the patch-ups if you really look really hard. Would definitely be getting this product again when needed!
