Light compression. The material is thin. I got them because I had nerve pain in my arm. I'm 6'4 with like 13inch wide arms (not buff). I use them for basketball. They have a cooling effect. They stay in place. Feel comfortable. Protect me from the sun. I highly recommend. I use them all the time.

I got this product because I developed a sore forearm from a combination of weight lifting and bowling. I have to admit that when I saw athletes start to wear these a few years ago I was a skeptic, thinking it was just a fad, something to 'look cool' with. But now that I have worn this for a few weeks, I really think it helps. My arm feels warmer and the muscles supported, and I think that it, in conjunction with heat, ice, stretching and modifying my activities has helped to get rid of soreness that was really hanging on. Not a scientific study, of course, but I won't be without this based upon my 'series of one' experience! The medium fits me well as a fairly tall and slender man. The quality of material and construction is quite good, and it has so far held up to many hrs of wearing and several hand washings. Recommended.

I have major tendinitis in my elbow from our recent move and instead of getting shots which I do not want, the doctor also recommended a compression sleeve. I work in a professional office and felt I needed a neutral, yet comfortable sleeve. This product has been really great in relieving the pain in my elbow. It is not hot and since the office ac is usually frigid my arm isn't too cold either. I'm glad there are 2 in the box so I can always have a spare ready when needed. It is a tad too long for my "girl" arms so I had to fold the upper end over and cuff the wrist end. That is why I gave it 4 stars as I wish this came in different lengths. I got the medium and while I feel no compression, I know it's there working as this fits like a second skin and I forget it's on most days.

As I get older, my skin facia is no longer up to the task of keeping me from bruising when I am digging volleyball spikes. I was getting bruised regularly. The compression sleeve spreads out the force enough to keep me mostly bruise-free...at least when playing VB.

this compression sleeve deserver 5 star rating as I was very happy with the fitting, comfort, material and function. The price was very good for the value you are getting. Shipping was fine as I didn't need the item in a hurry. I've been wearing it many times throughout the day and its been wearing very well. I would recommend this product to other buyers. this is my first purchase of a compression sleeve so I can't compare to other competing products.
