Happy Rose Girls' Cotton Long Sleeve Twirly Skater Party Dress

I have purchased two of these dresses. The first, the pink and white striped is prettier than the picture. It isn’t hot pink, More of a medium pink, which is prettier to me. It seems to have a little cotton in it, but not all cotton. Washes up nice and my granddaughter adores how twirly it is. The pale pink one I ordered today is all polyester. The tag says the lining is cotton, but their isn’t any lining. It has a definite poly feel to it, unlike the striped one. I’ll keep it though, it’ll do. Probably wouldn’t buy another though.

I received a different dress than ordered/pictured. The one I received has short sleeves and an asymmetrical hemline and is also a darker shade of pink. Upon checking tags, I see they are not even the same brand but is one of the dresses listed under “similar items”. It was the correct size at least so we kept it, though it was not what I payed for and ordered. Check what you receive! I ordered this for family pictures so by the time I realized the color, sleeves, and everything was different, it was too late.

The light blue stripe, dark blue stripe, and the solid coral. Thickness of material was consistent in all 3, which I was very happy about. My daughter is almost 10, but kind of tall so I got her the 12. I want them to hit her below the knee and they do. They're thick enough that they don't require a slip for modesty with her training bras. She says they're comfortable, very stretchy. I dried one and it didn't shrink, even with the 100% cotton label. My only complaints are that the hem is uneven on the striped ones. The solid coral is fine. It's not majorly noticable when she wears it, but it bugs me. I also would have preferred a slightly longer torso piece, as it stops a bit short, about bottom of her rib cage. I think a slightly longer torso would have looked better quality and more mature. Overall, it's a good quality material and construction, just wish the hem was level.

Great dress but sizing is off. My older daughter is 6.5, so I followed advice and ordered up (a size 8). The 8, however was too roomy, so I had her try on the size 4 (dress I bought for her 3 year old sister). The size 4 fit my big girl perfectly... so I would say it runs BIG and not small. But my big girl is very thin, so take that into account. She is 47” and 44 lbs.Other than the size, my daughter loves the coral color, skirt twirl, and comfy material. Her new favorite dress!

I purchased the orange dress. The dress, itself, is actually cute. It has a fantastic twirl, which we know is vital for little girls. It worked for a last minute school party.I read reviews, thankfully, so I wasn’t shocked when the dress didn’t match the description. As another review stated, the dress is not cotton. The tag says 100% polyester, lining 100% cotton. But there is no lining. I ordered a size 4 for my daughter, who has actually started wearing a size 6 from most brands. The 4 was a perfect fit. Had this dress actually been cotton, as stated in the description, it would have been perfect.

The dress seems very well crafted but the size 4 is not for ages 3-4 years as the description and sizing information suggests. It comes down to my 3-year old daughter's ankles and she's in the 103% for heigh! It was a last minute Easter purchase and now we don't have a special dress for tomorrow. I'm VERY disappointed. This size 4 is the proper length for her 9 year old cousin to wear as a skater dress but not her. Buyer beware! *pardon the messy playroom*

Very Orange. Stretchy material. Nice dress for the price.

This was a chance I took to order this for some girls for a Christmas concert. The quality is very good and the dresses are well made. But the sizes were smaller than expected. I wish I ordered one size bigger. But they managed with the sizes I got.
