Cuts clean lines on wrapping paper as designed. First one came crushed in pieces so it shows it’s susceptible to breakage but it’s relatively inexpensive. A replacement came quickly and I was happy using for this years holiday season. There are some less expensive models that may be equally as good but I was happy with this one

Tired of using scissors and sometimes getting jagged cuts when wrapping gifts, I decided to try things differently this year. I bought this, and also dedicated wrapping paper cutter called the "Little ELF." The ELF came in a two pack, and was shaped circularly to fit around a roll of paper. Out of the two, I much prefer this paper cutter. It's easier to use, cuts straighter, and worked better. Also, vs the ELF, this worked better as one of the two ELF cutters had a dull blade and would not cut the wrapping paper. For wrapping gifts, I would definitely recommend this.

I bought this to make my Christmas gift wrapping a bit easier and it worked well for a time. I agree with the other reviews that the blade is not well positioned. The blade fell out of the casing after 5 or 6 uses. I still fiddle with putting it together when I want to use it but my 13 year old daughter hasn't figured out how to do this yet and I'm afraid she will cut herself. I gave the paper cutter 4 out of 5 stars because the blade fell out of the cutter. Other than that, it worked well while it lasted.

Love this improved version. Sharp blade. Handle is comfortable to hold and provides excellent control. The improvement? There is a cut out above the blade to see guide lines or pattern on wrapping paper! Really helps make precise cuts.

Love this for coupons, wrapping paper, cutting while young children are present. Easy to keep in purse.

Not sure if the other reviewers had a bad product, however, mine is working great. Cuts through wrapping paper with ease (does not bunch up at all), opens envelopes with ease and have even used this to open the vanilla envelopes, plastic bag envelopes and thicker envelopes with no issues. The top is plastic and the only question I have is if the plastic holds up over repeated use and if the blade sharpness lasts for a good amount of time. But so far, no issues, sharp and works well.

Lasted almost a year - didn't wrap many gifts in that time. Some Christmas and a couple birthday. The cutting blade section broke off.

My mom had one of these but it was a bit different. It was red and it was bigger and had a handle to put your hand through it. That one was crap! Lol. I think she got it from Regal. Anyways I was hesitant about getting this one then I see a video from a women and she had the link to this one. So I got it and it really does work well. My mom was happy with it, I got it for her bcuz she has a lot of presents to wrap during Christmas. It made her job so much easier and faster. I used it too. I just don't know how long it will last. Or if it can be sharpened or not. Regardless it works really good and is handy to have. I will give it 5 stars.
