I've tried many holsters for many different weapons (off duty concealed carry) and this by far supercedes all. The holster is very slim and light weight, it fits securely IWB and is has little to join existent printing. I carried the weapon at my 5 o'clock and my wife didn't even know I was carrying. The whole reason I purchased the weapon was due to it's slim size and this holster keeps it that way. This has low level retention but that's to be expected for a concealed holster. It does have a click which secures the weapon, I'm very happy with this and will definitely buy another one for my glock 27. Review: Excellent appendix carry holster - Another great blade tech product. This is for appendix carry but works great. Easy on and off with the clip and fits the standard belt sizes 1.5 and 1.75 or smaller. Secure retention off the firearm and smooth unholstering. The holster clip is secure and doesn't get pulled out with the pistol. The appendix carry isn't great for long term sitting, but walking around is great, can conceal with shorts and a t shirt no problem with this setup. Would not recommend for side carry as the one clip and boxy holster tend to stick the pistol grip out and print pretty good unless you have more clothing on. Easy to take out though if you are driving and then just slide it back into position when ready to go. 4 stars because I think the holster could use a thinner material construction, this is a compact gun trying to be used for concealment. I understand the boxy construction helps with the price point as it doesn't have to be perfectly molded to the gun, but smoother lines would be nice. It advertises you can multiple position carry, which you can but won't because of the the aforementioned. But great overall product and killer price point. Less than half of the cost of my Bravo holster for the same gun. If I am wearing light clothing and walking around this is my choice, if I am side carrying with more layers or heavier clothing I use my Bravo.

It's a great holster if you like appendix carry
The holster itself is very slim, very low profile, looks great on the gun, has the perfect retention (seriously, every holster company out there needs to model their retention after this one), the belt clip (klipt, I guess) was firm enough to be effective and stay put, but you didn't have to use a hacksaw to get it off when it was time. If you are a fan of appendix carry, you will like this holster, no doubt. However, if you aren't sure or you aren't a fan of appendix, this holster isn't going to change your mind. I wish it sat a little lower on the belt line for better concealment (make it adjustable Blade-Tech). For $30 it's a decent buy. Might be worth it if you are looking into appendix carry, not worth it if you've already tried other AC holsters and hated them.

Better than the more expensive brands.
I'm a fanboy of AGH and while their product is superb it just doesn't work for me. I am on skinny /slim side and those leather IWB are too bulky. Enter Amazon and luckily i found this IWB holster for my 9mm SW shield. Badabing!!! This baby works like a charm and it doesn't leave any prints unless i stretch my arms out like I'm reaching for the stars. To give you an idea I am on the athletic side 5'8-145lbs-30" waist and wear a M shirt. So for those skinny guys or gals like me save your penny buying the leather type IWB and get this. Much easier to take on and off and very comfortable. I do wear it up front and cant it on my right side and it doesn't dig on my stomach when i sit down.

comfortable, but extremely difficult to insert/remove from holster. no way to adjust.
weapon was extremely difficult to insert/remove from the holster. i looked for a way to adjust it, but it was just held together by a single rivet. it was extremely comfortable though. i hear good things about these holsters, so i'm probably going to go to my local gun store and try a few out in the shop. seems to be good quality. i think the plastic on mine wasn't molded properly or something. it happens these days.

Good for Infrequent Use
Quality holster for the price. Quick, easy, and sturdy. I use it for carry daily and it's held up for several months. Wish it had some retention but for what it is, it's well made and does its job. I'd recommend it for a simple carry option, not for everyday all day use though. Get something with some retention and a better clip.

Blade-Tech is spot on!
Fits the M&P shield snug and protects it as well. Fits great in my waist line. I see many peoples reviews saying it sits too high. I have to disagree and say that this holster sits just right. If it was any lower I wouldn't be able to draw it as quickly. I recommend this holster for anyone looking into an M&P Shield!

Great so far
Keeps my Shield secure, and is easy to draw from. I don't usually like "clip" type holsters, but this seems to work pretty well so far. I'll update this if it breaks, but I've been been pleased up to now. It has a raised side to protect the gun from sweat (which is great, since my shield is my summer carry gun), retention was perfect right out of the package, and I've yet to draw and pull the whole holster off (which happens with "clip" holsters). All in all, great deal for the price. I'd suggest to anybody who doesn't have something better, for a first holster while you find a better one, or for somebody who wants to try appendix type carry position but doesn't want to invest a lot of money yet. For $30, I couldn't ask for more (especially since the 'custom' ones start at $60 or more).
