High Dome Grill Lid

I love this lid, I use it for steaming in frying pans and on the flat-top! Hash browns turn out perfect, cheese melts on burgers, and it's easy to clean... but it's aluminum so don't put it in the dishwasher because the chemicals will turn it gray... but everyone already knows this right?

I use this lid for all my searings and pan frying. The tall lid gives it better air circulation than the lids the pans came with.

Should be hand washed otherwise the top looks discolored. Does not affect cooking results.

Use it once a week. Fits my griddle perfectly! Sturdy, and well made.

Bought a flat griddle for my wife. This really helps hold the heat in when cooking and helps to evenly distribute the heat throughout the food. Also, cut cooking time. Bought several sizes. Even works when cooking in cast iron skillet.

Made of a nice thick gauge of aluminum. I'm not precious about where something like this is made but for those sensitive, this product is made in USA, well most of it. According to Nordic ware the handles are made in Taiwan. I intend to use this with a 12" wok primairly and I think this will work well. There is a mismatch between what the listing states in terms of dimensions vs the packaging. The packaging says this is 10 inches, the listing states that the lid is 13.25 x 11.63 x 5 inches while the packaging says this is 11.5x11.5x4.2. I measured the diameter and can confirm that it is in fact about 11.6 inches. I almost returned it when I saw the "10 inch high dome blah blah" The item came in with scuffs and a few blemishes. There weren't any dents and since this is not going on my coffee table ad a center piece I'm not going to return it. I look forward to having it do what I need it do and I'm sure it will do it well. Finally please do not throw this lid into the dishwasher unless of course the rustic tarnished aluminum look is your thing.

When taken out of the box the Lid had multiple scratches, black marks and a small dent - I think the lid got into it with a skillet and came out the loser. Seriously, looked like it would have suited me perfectly if not for the damage. I am returning. Some quality control issues here. Should have never been shipped.

Works super good to grill steak, it’s heavy and so worth the money. Well made, very useful use it on my griddle all the time. So glad I bought this. Be careful to use a pot holder as the handle will get hot.

Great size and fits about 3-4 burgers underneath.

Lid works fine and the quality seems great. However it has a major flaw in that the handle conducts heat. I am having to use cloth/tissue while cooking. I can always make a silicon wrap which should solve the issue. But the manufacturer never thought about the most basic thing of making any pan/lids. Not recommended.
