Great for an upstairs security monitor
Was looking for a booster to have an upstairs monitor for my security system. Cat 5 cable was 100ft. This works great. Only issue is the monitor picture has flickering, prob from the signal being boosted. But it’s fine.

Great for price, must use quality cable
This item actually works , but!!! It has to have good cat5e or cat6/7 cable. I tried many pre run , pre made cat5 cables and was about to give up , tried a cat6 piece I had and started working, then ran a new cat6 200 feet and has perfect picture at 4K

Great value for the money, but does have a glitch every now and then.
My configuration is an Epson projector + Expert Connect HDMI extender (transmitter/receiver) over 80ft Cat6 + Yamaha receiver + Roku Ultra. It works great for 99% of the time and the picture quality is awesome. The only downside is the Expert connect HDMI receiver needs power cycled every once in awhile. The picture will be great and then you'll start noticing weird blocks/distortions across the screen. It's only happened twice in 3 months, and it's only required unplugging the receiver and plugging it back in. - I'll update the review as we continue to use the extenders.
