Extremely difficult to actually attach to a magazine, but I guess that’s the point so you know that they are very secure and you will never come up without a mag when you’re pulling from a belt or carrier. Lightweight, soft, work perfectly, and they’re affordable. Everything you need to be totally tactical. I much prefer these over the ones that are molded into a base plate, because if you mindlessly tap a mag, these with take the blow rather than stabbing your hand with a hard plastic point.

Tight fit and if you don't have muscle, you may have to cheat to get this on. Once these are on, there is no real need to remove them. The durability is fantastic and the end loop doubles as a cushion for when magazines hit the ground if you were in a tactical situation. They are great value. I will note that if you are new to using these types of items, it should go without saying that you do not want to apply these to smaller 10-round magazines. In most AR platforms, this will prevent the magazine from seating correctly.

I've got two 20 round mini-14 ruger mags and I had added grip (skateboard) tape to the bottoms of them for faster and easier grip. I've managed to slip these pulls over the grip tape, leaving some grip tape exposed and the pulls firmly on there. Magpul has an excellent PDF out there on all the different ways and modifications you can use these pulls. I recommend everyone read them, as the product description that came with them is a little lacking. The PDF even shows how to do different types of "tactical" reloads using the loops. I do not see where the other reviewer said they were flimsy or didn't attach to the mag very well. Maybe the grip tape on the bottoms of my mags helps keep the pulls on, but I can't see it being easy to pull off even without the tape. I'll be buying more when I have more magazines. They have different colors and different feelings on the loops, at least that PDF I read claims, so I'll look into the different varieties so I can load my mags with different ammo and know without having to check and just by feeling the loop. I rated this a 4 star because I don't believe many things are perfect, it came in rather plain packaging, and there wasn't very many instructions as compared to the online PDF. Like many others have said, the tried and true speed tape/duct tape and 550 cord work great. I recommend double looping, because I have seen the single cord break on my buddies before. Also, I question how long over time being exposed to the sun, weather, and the darkness of my storage closet this method will hold up. These things are under $4 a piece and I literally know that having a magazine properly prepared to be retrieved for a combat reload can literally save your life. They were easy to put on my standard 30 round military issue M-4 5.56 magazines. They also did just fine on the Smith and Wesson 15M&P 30 round mags. I had one left over and I actually was able to put it on my M&P 15/22 magazine as well (my other 5.56 still had duct tape and 550 cord). I like the idea that I can move them to different mags when I need to. I love the fact that they provide extra protection when I eject a magazine and it drops (on or off the field of battle). Lastly, and this was a big deal: I still use the issue 3 magazine pouch with the plastic push snap for most of my rifle magazines. The top of this are stiff, yet still rubber-floppy. I was able to snap my mag pouches closed even with these on the magazines. I was really impressed and it was worth the money not to have to wrap and cord my remaining mags. Passen nur auf längere Magazine. Viele 10er Magazine haben einen zu kurzen Magazinkörper. Sind leicht anzubringen und halten an größeren Magazinen gut. Leider sind meine OA und Hera zu kurz für das korrekte anbringen

Wie bei Magpul üblich, sehr robust, perfekt verarbeitet und macht exakt was es soll! Top!
