Great name with great value, and that Military look vibe, and great value when you shop carefully.
Yes, I am a slave to fashion. Love guns, love Magpul, though their stuff is ridiculous expensive. I have been a fan for a very long time. I am an avid gun hobbyist, and the Magpul name figures very well in the Lexicon of quality, but for a price. The Case here for my work iPhone 5S is the Brown Cerecote looking Brown is pretty awesome from a cosmetic personal taste part. Love the looks no end. My caveat with it is that it is a bit slippery in its feel vs. my not so stylish Verizon Gel Cover formerly on it. In slick Steinway black as I call it, it gave my iPhone class no end, and great grip. I may go back to it from time to time on special occasions, where the style is the player. Did I say I was a slave to fashion?Fitment and quality. Fitment is outstanding. Snug, and easy to fit right over the phone chassis no end. Finish is very good to excellent as well. Consistency of the coating color, and texture, and precision of construction. fitment around my Tempered Glass by Verizon, superb.Minus sides are the hard to press volume control up, and down. Some higher degree of force is needed to make it so. More at times than I would like. Protection of the camera lens, very good as it offsets the camera lens away from any surface. Remember that is a precision optical grade glass, and any damage will affect its performance, especially in focusing.Pricing, and value, at least when purchased here around $13.00, outstanding value. My Rubber Black Gel Verizon case was $20.00 in comparison. Durability is good but you still are not going to drop this out of a helicopter right? So about average for the class. It still is a precision instrument, and should be treated as such.Should you get this over other slip on cases? Depends on your sense of style, your budget, how rough you are with your phone. Only you know that for sure. Be honest by the way, and get past that I would never do that to my phone. I worked for a phone provider, and the things I saw done to phones is horrendous. Otter box, Life...whatever maybe better for some. For those whom are careful with the occasional knock or bump, the Magpul Bump Case is a fine choice. A recommended to friends and family with the above points, and caveats. Thank you for your time.

Worth the cost, tougher than leather, amazing slip resistant polymer outside, good interior cushion for drops. A+!
I got this on the Wirecutter blog's recommendation after my Speck Candyshell Flip case broke. It is as advertised, and worth the cost. Tough as nails, has stood up to a few ill-advised (unintentional) drops, and hasn't failed me in any way since I got it. I was pleasantly surprised that it's a little thinner and lighter than the Candyshell was, more rounded on the edges, and whatever polymer they're using is miraculous. It's tacky enough to grip, and doesn't slip out of your fingers, but also doesn't attract any lint in your pocket or grab hold of the pocket and will still slide fine on a smooth tabletop. The raised lip keeps the screen from scratches if you have your phone face-down, and the rubbery air pocket cushion on the inside seems to do its job quite well in saving it from drops. Only con I can think of, is that it's not the easiest thing in the world to get the case on and off your phone, as I discovered when my phone went in for service to repair a sleep/wake button that had failed. It's really in there, and I don't think it's humanly possible to put in or take out a phone from the bump case without toggling the silent/ringer switch and adjusting your volume. The buttons are a little tough, but once you get used to them, they're fine. Beefy controls for mil-spec operators using gloves or something, I'm sure. It's thin overall, but due to the resistance in getting my phone out and in again, I bought a little adapter set so I could use my 30-pin to lightning adapter and an aux cable for the line-in on a car stereo so they'd fit without taking the case off. There's not a lot of room around the lightning connection on the bottom, or around the headphone jack. Still, well worth the cost, and discrete without being too flashy, or as clunky as an otterbox. Doesn't make you look like you're auditioning for the next Expendables movie, either, although it certainly has a little understated tactical flair.

So far, so awesome!
I purchased this for my iPhone 5 and the fit could not be better. To start, I have owned and used several of the other Magpul iPhone 4 and 5 Field cases and they tend to wear out after about a year of daily pocket use. By 'wear out,' I mean that the cases cease to fit to the phone snugly leading to the phone wanting to pop up of the case somewhat. It makes the phone feel cheap and gross and is pretty annoying. I have already emailed Magpul regarding this directly and they have obliged me with a free case with free shipping on once occasion. The problem is that it wore out like the rest of them. (I think a little heat and some rubber bands would mold them back tight, so I've held onto them)I wanted to give this case a try and so far its great. The outside is a harder plastic than the field cases, and the inside is a rubber softer than the field cases. Like with the field cases, the fitment out of box is excellent, but I think the harder outside plastic will be less susceptible to permanent deformation, long-term. The inner softer rubber will probably be a little more impact absorbent, but we'll see.I have replaced the screen on my iPhone 5, three separate times, all while the phone was wearing Magpul Field cases in various colors. I dropped the phone waaaaaaaaaaay more times than that on concrete. So even the basic ones offer decent proctection.Only time will tell. I will update this review if anything changes. If this review has helped you in any way, please give a thumbs up. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Amazing product! Amazing delivery!!
I just got a new case this week and then saw this one... it is now my new favourite case. It definitely provides a lot of rear and edge protection while being very compact and lightweight. It has the appearance of being durable and rugged while also being durable and rugged! It was also delivered ridiculously fast by UPS to the middle of nowhere! Nothing bad to say about this at all. Thanks! I would recommend this case to anyone. I also bought the red Magpul Field Case for my girlfriend for her 6plus.
