PRO+AQUA Heavy Duty Whole House Well Water Filter System

To set the application for use this is in a industrial water tank application that we use to show customer demonstrations of our pumps and their chopping/cutting abilities. The tank typically contains a large submersible pump any where from 5 to 60 Horsepower so we are also generating and adding heat to our water from the pump operation as it will run on a set cycle rate for 24 hours for months at a time. The water we use to fill the approx. 5000 gallon capacity tank comes from a well just like you would use at your home. Our water usage on average can vary month to month from 1,200 gallons to 10,000 gallons depending on ambient temps, evaporation and if we have need to drain the tank for periodic cleaning and internal plumbing changes. In the four years of using the well to fill this tank we always get a "bloom" of bacteria or organics and a fishy odor from the well once the water hits the light. It would normally take adding chlorine and water clarifier initially and every day for about about 2-3 days. until the water would be clear enough to see the pumps and perform a demonstration or record a video. Since installing this unit we have seen immediate improvement in water clarity, the "bloom" has become non-existent, no foul odor is occurring, and we have greatly reduced the amount of chlorine and clarifier we use for this system. Additionally we can immediately perform demonstrations or take videos and don't have to wait the 2-3 days for the water to clear up. For us this unit has been a great piece of equipment to help combat water clarity, odor, and visibility issues. The unit arrived in well packaged carton and no damage to the parts. Looking forward to see how long this unit will sustain the improvements we have experienced in our system.

Bought this a year ago. It's now a year later. Wanted to wait this long to give good feedback. This system is AMAZING. Easy to install, programming is a snap with the instructions. Most importantly, this thing works beyond good. YOU want to see the results? Water in picture on left is from my well before the PRO+AQUA system. Water on right is after PRO+AQUA treatment, before being treated by water softner. A picture is worth a thousand words, isn't it? I have high manganese in my water. This is typical of the wells in my area due to the aquifer. Off the chart manganese when tested. As you can see, my water untreated is Lipton tea in appearance. This unit makes it CRYSTAL CLEAR! I can wash white clothes no problem without staining. My toilets and sinks don't stain. THANK YOU for making an awesome product. Best of all, no additional chemicals needed like other systems. I don't see a down side here, do you? System is worth every penny.

First off shipping…. The unit is shipped in a box with NO type of bracing/packing, the box is also a LIGHT MATERIAL box not a HEAVY MATERIAL box with no bracing or packing the unit slides back and forth in box thus busting the ends which are only taped once. I lost some of media that was coming out of the box when received. The system is easy to install I had no issues, and had no issues with set-up and putting into service. It has been installed for two weeks at the beginning of the second week the water taste has gone back to original taste, the well water smell has also returned. I have tried to backwash at a smaller interval then the three days it is set for, this did nothing. I have a U/V filter after this system and have since bought a three filter whole house system that I am going to install between, this system is clear so I will be able to see just how bad the water still is come through the AUQU system. This system is supposed to be specific to well water to me it is not doing what it is advertised to do. Once I install the other system I will do another review with all three systems in place. I do not recommend buying this if you want a filtration by itself. It’s going to take more then just this.

Amazing, works great, well water is not crystal clear with no bad taste at all

The filter is easy to install & get up going. I haven't done a water check by a lab yet, but water is clear and no foul smell at this time. The one thing I would have liked to have would be backlit screen for easy viewing. The tank does the back flush as programed. I read some feed back from other users and was wondering if they followed the installation procedure as to running the by pass before placing in operation mode. This is a basic important step for clearing the residue and removing air pockets. So don't rush past the initial flush. I will be watching for any changes in quality of the water. Time will tell,but so far so good. Only running for a bit over a week . Seems to be good bang for the buck!

This product worked amazing for 3 months them the brow water came you can’t get support just got ripped for 1500$ called the company who makes it they were very helpful but said it does not support the product bought through Amazon love Amazon fist bad experience so be careful what you buy I am on a pension there’s no way I can replace it so very bad experience

Haven’t had it long but I’ve noticed the rust and particulates have disappeared from the well water. Only gave it 4 stars because others in the household swear they still see some particles in water. I haven’t. But will update this later if I can.
