Been using it for a while and Im satisfied. But I didnt get the wooden spatula in the picture or the cleaning scrubber. And i didn hav a problem with weight thpugh

EDIT AFTER USING THIS FOR 1 YEAR *** The quality is definitely not adequate for you to continue using it for multiple years. The heating is uneven now, with some spots becoming really hot while others not so much, as is visible in the water droplet splash test. The pan is definitely not bad, I still use it, but it would have been a much more wise decision to spend some more money right at the outset and buy a Stahl or Bergener or even Vinod Original entry is below - This is a well built pan, and offers good value for the price that you are paying. I have a Stahl Kadhai bought for 3k, and there definitely a noticeable difference in quality of these two utensils, even though both are made of the same 18/10 steel. The Stahl kadhai just seems more non-stick, more tough and longer lasting that the Hawkins pan So, If you are on a very tight budget, the Hawkins pan would do just fine, you wont have any complains with it. However, if you can shell out some more money, I would recommend going for more premium priced pans/kadhai's since we anyways will be using this for a lot many years!!

Material - Good heavy solid 3ply stainless steel. 24 cm size is just perfect for cooking for 1-2 people. If you cook for more people, go for 26/28cm pans. To use - preheating and decent amount of oil is required as stainless steel is very sticky BUT if preheated to 200celcius and decent amount of oil used - it works really well.

Looks to be a superb product. But it is difficult to use it for the ladies in our home with one hand due to it's heavy weight even when empty and even without the glass lid. A grip to the other side of the handle would've made handling easier. Product deserves 5 stars. Usage difficulty has reduced its rating.

It is thick and built well, but is a bit too heavy, making it not too convenient to use. The lid doesn't have a steam vent, resulting in the vapour condensing and seeping back into the food.

Despite ordering the same diameter as the pan I'm hoping to replace due to the toxicity of Teflon and other non stick coatings, it is still very much smaller than expected. Will keep it as has nice heft,but will order a larger version as well.
