It comes disassembled in three sections, but putting it together was straightforward. I’ve used it with both a pool brush for scrubbing and a skimmer net for removing leaves and bugs. The pole is surprisingly lightweight, which makes it much easier to maneuver around the pool, but it still feels strong and sturdy when putting some pressure on it with the brush. I especially like having the extra length available for reaching across the pool without having to constantly reposition myself. The sections lock together securely and I haven’t had any issues with it feeling flimsy or bending during use. Overall, this feels like a well-made pool pole that should work with the standard pool cleaning attachments I already have. Very happy with it so far and would definitely recommend it. Review: Great pool rod! - I bought this to replace a cheap and flimsy telescoping rod that I bought last year because it basically folded in half when extended and using it to push the pool vacuum. This one is much thicker and built much better. I have no doubt that it will last a long time. The material seems to be very durable aluminum with well constructed plastic tightening "grips?" that you twist to extend the rod or shorten it for storage, making it about 5' or so at its smallest. It extends out to 12 feet and down to 5 feet I think. Definitely a good value for the cost. Don't buy the cheaper thin rods, as they'll break very easily. This rod's material is thicker and built better, making it much sturdier for pushing a pool vacuum or whichever attachment you may need it for. ## Features - CONNECT ATTACHMENTS -Most pool maintenance accessories like nets, skimmers, rakes, brushes and vacuum heads.Spend more time swimming and less time cleaning - PROFESSIONAL GRADE POLE - Durable and sturdy professional 12 foot 1.0mm Commercial Thickness blue anodized aluminum telescopic swimming pool pole.Extend pole from 4 ft - 12 ft Clean your pool from every angle - SUPER SIMPLE LENGTH ADJUSTMENT - Easy unlocking and "Smooth Glide" pole coating make simple work of pole length adjustments - ALWAYS GRIPS & NEVER SLIPS – Rubber coated handle & locking cams allows you to have firm grip while you are cleaning your pool - EASY TO STORE: 4 Feet when full retracted which makes it ideal size to store.
