Just add a water and can write anything even younger one can use it as long as you supervise her there a couple of squeaky pads on the mat which is funny as my little one liked the sounds. Two kids can sit on it and draw together or independently. Really easy to set up, just fill the pens with water and the kids can draw straight away. The lines and colours are all quite clear. Much better than the one we bought from Disney a few years back. There are some stamps and stencils to add some variety. There are also suction cups to hook the whole mat on the wall. But it works better on the floor in my opinion. The only small gripe I have got is on the quality of the mat itself. It is functional but I doubt it will be long lasting.
