DOD TECH LS430W-16GB 1080P Japanese Lens Dash Camera with 16GB Memory Card f/1.6 Aperture - 5Hz

Have it for over two month now. So far so good. Good video quality and clear picture.Cannot get DOD player to work.. Made over 10 attempts to call and send an Email to DOD Tech Support in past two month. No one ever picked up the phone and no reply to email. GOOD CAMERA. USELESS TECH SUPPORT. Will not buy it again.

This is a great dashcam! Our family has one installed in every car and the first one we bought back in 2014 hasn't failed us. The picture is very high quality; crisp and clear. It's stood up to typical Houston weather (down to 20 degrees in winter and heat indexes of 110 in the summer). There's a choice of a adhesive backed or suction cup mount and the power cable is long enough to let you hide the cable along the side of the car. The included 16GB Adata SD allows for about 4 hours total recording.

Needed it yesterday after I was involved in a accident. Come to find out 6 of 10 sessions did not record or there was a problem with the file. Come to find out this has happening all along. Sessions before accident were OK. 2 sessions around the accident were bad. Session following showing me pulling away was OK. Found a web site online that can correct the files but would cost me $25 for one and $36 for the other. If you don't care if your dash cam works all the time or when you really need it, this is the dash cam for you.

I bought this camera because of the good reviews and good performance of the camera. However, now I am having problems not 6 weeks in.The camera has corrupted two video clips and is now skipping 20 sec clips when starting the next 3 min video loop. If I can't resolve this matter it will have to be returned. Will post an update after contacting the manufacturer. Upgraded the stars because I have gotten good help from Dod-USA. They have suggested that I replace the sdcard as a trouble shooting step. This seems to have solved my problem. Will continue to monitor and update as time goes.

After being relatively happy with this unit for 2 years it will no longer stay on. The battery backup in the unit never worked longer than a few seconds and now when plugged in, it constantly turns on and off. I've tried multiple usb cords and plugs both in the car and in the house with no change. Seems like the usb plug on the camera has a loose connection and won't maintain power. Very disappointing for such an expensive unit.

Awesome Product as the video quality in both day and night time captures are great. Something that all should consider in purchasing as a precaution measure if it is even needed to help prove your case during an accident.

Works great.No problems. Someone ran a red light and hit my truck.Their insurance would not pay.Now I can prove it.Easy to install.
