Review: This is the LE....GO - I preordered this during the early stages of COVID thinking that it would be a nice surprise when it showed up after me forgetting about. I was right about how terrible my memory is and how delightful it is to receive surprise Legos. Like others have mentioned, the box was a little beat up and I probably would have been miffed if it was intended as a gift. Mine arrived alone in a bubble envelope rather than a cardboard box. Maybe it will just be an issue with pre-orders. The set was really fun to put together. I’ve been building some knockoff mini block figures during COVID as a mid day desk distraction. It’s been 10+ years since I’ve touched an official LEGO set and I forgot about the forethought that goes into their sets. Lots of unique pieces, clear step by step instructions and a focus on quality. My favorite part was discovering that at the center of Mando’s helmet they placed a pink “brain” block. If you’re looking for a collectible the risk of a damaged box is probably a deal breaker. If you’re looking to crack it open and have a fun afternoon, I recommend this set.

I'm fairly certain that Lego has made an unearthly contract with some dark Force because they possess the power to compel grown adults to pay hard-earned money on their products. Moreover, these products cause those same adults to revert to their child counterparts. You would rightly assume I love this Lego set. I built it immediately upon arrival. Now it sits on my desk at work, bringing a gleeful smile to my face every time I look at it. Ironically, I haven't even seen "The Mandalorian". (Don't judge me... I'll get to it eventually. It's on my ever-expanding watchlist. 🤪) Maybe you're a Lego fan, maybe you're not. All the same, this was a lot of fun to build. It was fairly simple and moderately priced. I would recommend this to anyone whether or not you love Star Wars, The Mandalorian, or Grogu (a.k.a. Baby Yoda). Be creative, have fun, and--as always--stay excellent!
