Is there a ‘use by’ or ‘best before’ date? ( I know eat within 3 months once opened )

Hi....This relies on the seller stock rotation and levels....We tend to limit our stock levels and purchase on a order by order basis which can then ensure the stock is fresh rather than stored for months waiting for orders....If concerned always request the BBD before purchase.....any real pet business will communicate the date. I have been feeding my dog the burns puppy food, if I change to this do I need to introduce it slowly?

Hi....As a general rule ( even on the same brand ) you should transfer over slowly in case there are issues...7 days is the normal period but this can be reduced to 3-4 days. just be aware that changing from puppy food which is normally chicken based to a different protein (Fish / Turkey etc ) can cause initial loose stools.
