Wood Beam Heavy Bag Hanger to Mount Punching Bag - with 360 Degree Swivel - Made in The USA!

I've had this hanger for a couple of weeks now, and I really like it. Here's what I liked:1) The installation was a breeze. I used a power drill and a socket wrench to install in about 7 minutes. I needed help to attach my heavy 100 pound bag, but that was it.2) I've beat on the bag pretty good with kicks, punches, and elbows, and the hanger is taking the abuse well.3) I'm able to move around the bag for a better workout. I used to have a bag stand, but I hated the fact that it limited my footwork.4) I can hit hit from various angles. Again the bag stand didn't allow me to kick the bag from different angles and I was always reluctant to kick too hard because I was afraid I was going to kick the metal posts...ouch.5) It's very cost effective.I can't think of any bad things to say. I would highly recommend!

Impressed all around. Ordered the mount and was notified it would arrive in about 14 days, but it came in 4!! The quality of the mount is superb it almost feels like a piece off of a rogue squat rack. Prior to this I had a wall mount (yes4all) and it bent, also didn’t like the fact I couldn’t 360 around it. I mounted it to a 2x6 that is 2.5’ long on to a ceiling joist through drywall. Ran 4 3/8 4” lags w/ washers (used some 3in1 oil to lubricate the lags) + the included hardware for the mount itself, then a 150lb rated hd spring to a 100lb title banana bag. So far I’ve only had the bag up a few hours and couldn’t be happier it’s holding very well! Also i can’t commend firstlaw fitness enough for getting my order in so quickly and even saying thank you on the invoice haha! All in all I highly recommend this if you can’t splurge on the spider mount no reason on selling yourself short for a cheaper mount that probably won’t hold up. Buy once cry once! Will update on the durability as I put in more use.

Im only writing this bc i just left a (bad) review for one i bought from everlast that cane apart. Back in 2020 i bought one of this and one of everlast and installed them in my basement. This one held (and still holds) a 100 lbs punching bag. The one from everlast held a trx working out bands which are less than 5 lbs. A few months later i bought another one of this one again (since i liked the construction of this better) to hand an adult swinging chair. Both the punching bag and the swing still hold strong. They are used regularly. The one from everlast that held trx band fell apart today while my 3 yr old was swinging with the trx straps. The screw that holds the pieces together came off from being unscrewed from the weight pulling on it. Anyway, look at the design of this product and compare it with others before you buy.

When installed properly this mount is solid and awesome! I thought of ordering one of the cheaper ones that still had decent reviews, but there were some reviews that stated they had to replace some hardware early on. I decided that the extra $15 was worth saving my time and effort later. Shipping was much faster than expected. I ordered a short 4" spring to absorb shock (Prime shipping from a different vendor, that has yet to arrive) the same time I ordered the mount . When the mount arrived I could tell it was just a high quality mount. Follow the directions and ensure you drill straight in, or you may end up damaging your beam. The lube tip in the instructions also helped. I mounted my bag in the basement this weekend without the spring, just an oval climbing carabiner and reluctantly got one good workout in. It held up beautifully. I imagine the spring will make things even smoother, but I'm VERY HAPPY with the mount as it is. Would definitely recommend.

Bought it a few weeks ago, easy to install. I was afraid my thick drywall ceilings in my garage wouldn’t give the screws enough bite into the wood beam but it does! No damage to my drywall. Comes with heavy duty screws. Unit is very sturdy and quality. Swivels nicely. I’ve been pounding on it everyday with my 120+lbs bag and it has not budged.

Seems good and sturdy. I used grade 8 nuts and bolts instead of the screws, I use my bag alot and weigh 250 so a sturdy mount is a must . Will come back and add to my review in about three months

Before this, I purchased two rdx mounts on separate occasions. Neither lasted 6 months. The price of this one gave me a bit of hesitation at first, but after going through the two, cheaper rdx mounts and then receiving this one and noticing immediately the top tier quality, I knew I would have saved money and hassle by purchasing this, the first law fitness wood mount, the first time. Don't make my mistake, seriously, just purchase it. You won't be disappointed and I can't imagine it ever breaking or malfunctioning. It's super smooth rotating and easy to install.

This thing is as solid as it gets. As soon as you pick it up you can tell how sturdy it is. After gathering the proper tools it took me no more than 5 minutes to drill the holes and bolt it into place. I hung my 80 pound bag then hung on it myself (I’m a 200 pound man) and it didn’t budge or make a sound. Then I went straight to an 8 round workout on it. Totally solid. I really like that it has the spacers. It rotates perfectly as well. Much more heavy duty than anything else available. I would recommend this product to everyone. Spend a few extra bucks and get this. You won’t regret it.
