As we have been gaining new family members recently due to marriage and new babies, it was important for my wife to find a system that would work well to remind her of important dates. when it arrived a few of the smaller pieces were chipped or broken, but with 100 of them these couple of causalities were not a big deal. The front of the sign is a light oak color with the design cut/burned into the wood. It has very rough edges with some chips, looks like it was cut with a dull saw. The front also had a small ding in it. For the price, I do not believe this has the quality that I would have expected it to.
