HJ HALL Men's Knee-High Socks

Not fit for purpose, on this occasion. Having used HJ Hall Flysafe socks for some years, the recent purchase left much to be desired. After just a few times being worn, one of the socks developed a large hole in the heel. Sent it back to the seller, who sent it on to the manufacturer, but they claimed it was not faulty. I only use one sock, for the leg where veins were taken out, and I rotate them so that each sock is only worn once every 8 days, but Halls claim that "they are not designed to be worn day in day out , they are designed for travelling." Therefore, pilots and regular fliers need to be aware. These are not now Flight Socks - only now suitable for very occasional travellers to use on holiday flights apparently.. It makes them an expensive purchase when they last only a few days.

Good day to you all! I have been wearing this brand for at least 8 years, the heading in my opinion should read Unisex rather than men's. I wear the small size and my husband wears the medium size - both for different reasons. I used to suffer badly swollen ankles and my husband suffers swollen veins. I wear them all the time (except for sleeping of course) and only get swollen ankles if I leave them off for two days at a time now. The fabric is perfect for washing and wearing it breaths so suitable for summer as well as winter. I only ever buy this brand

These were bought for my husband who suffers from water retention. He's got some from the doc's but these are much better, much better than the usual thick pop sock type things. Now I know how to get them on him I can see we'll be ordering more.

The socks compression feels no different to Scholl Flight Socks. I wear size 4/5 shoe and there is still room in the 3-6 size FLYSAFE so they don't pull on toes. I have only washed them once so far. It was in a washing machine and they seemed to come through that ordeal OK. The colour Ecru looks almost white in the image I was hoping for darker so it didn't bother me that they were a lot darker than the image.

These arrived very quickly and were exactly as expected. Fit well.

I bought these thinking that I would get a pair of HJ Hall socks which are a classic sockmaker although the pair delivered were just a cheap pair of ladies flight socks I could have bought down the market. Disappointed
