Flies around your food?
Definitely keeps flies and flying insects away. I have a particular interesting story about this product, which does indeed work like a charm. In 2010, an old acquaintance, Steve Keltner, a college tract star at the U of TN, came by my office to show me an invention of his. He had horrible Parkinson’s at the time and shook and squirmed the entire time he pulled it out of his bag and placed it on my conf table. A little plastic tower with 2 flimsy blades at the top, the bottom using one AA battery to tie it with Duck Tape. He touched a wire to the battery and the blades on top spun. Hmmmm. What could this be? “My mother and I would sit on her patio and have a cocktail but be bothered by flies. I went home one day and came up with this idea. It keeps flies from Invading our space.” I was instantly impressed. And suggested he present it to companies who could help distribute, like BulbHead. He did go with one of them. Not sure which one.

Perfect for Eliminating Flies Around Food
Works like a charm. I just want to know who discovered that flies hate holograms?

They work, as long as you’re very close to them.
My husband and mosquitos don’t get along, but somehow he attracts them like crazy. I saw these fans at a friend’s house - she successfully used them on a food table at an outdoor party to keep flies away - and thought I’d give them a try. They do work well, as long as they’re very close by. We have barstool height chairs on our deck and he puts one at his feet. Voila! No more mosquito bites.

Stops flies
These work fantastically! We live in Central Texas & are finally able to eat outside without flies ruining it. Definitely recommend. Need own 2 AA batteries but so far working great.
