Review: 36 page manual - Mine game a reading of 5.3 I don't have any experience testing these devices but that seems like a logical reading for the time/nutrition mine came with both blue and black lancets which are moulded differently, the blue lancets just say fine gauge, the black lancets say size: 26g there 10 black lancets.the beep isn't very loud but it is only 3 volts, the buttons can be confusing because there are only 2 of them, but I think that's standard for some annoying reason. The Lancet device stings my index finger tip at setting 4 but does not drAw any blood so it has to be set on 4.5 or 5, the strip as stated do not require much blood to register a reading so it is quick to use. Build quality is, compared egg shaped devices with an lcd, not quite as good as a tamagotchi but it should survive buying dropped and I cant seem to be able to pry it apart with my fingernails and it has a recently large sized LCD screen. Review: Bargain at this price - This machine works very well and is simple to operate. You don't have to bother setting it up, just need to ensure the testing chip is put in the side (my error was not to do this) and then put a test strip in, stick your pin pricked finger on the end until it beep et voila! I don't have diabetes!
