Minimal polarizing.

This attachement uses real camera filters unlike some others. You can also use other 37 mm filters or purchase an adapter and use other sizes. I have a bunch of 55 mm filters for my SLR and I can use them too. Two photo's below taken of Beaver island harbor, notice how well the glare is reduced. This is a must have for any seaside other shots where glare is an issue.

I bought one in conjunction with an Iphone 6s for a commercial shoot in Miami. I wanted the ability to shoot 4k lockdowns quickly, while retaining beautiful tone in the clouds and sky. and work with the widest f2.4 aperture for ECU separation of my foregrounds and backgrounds. Also, I wanted something unassuming and small.This arrived within the week and is made of metal housing. The variable ND element turns smoothly and does not "click" into each stop of exposure. The clamp is strong enough to stay fixed on the phone, even when swinging it around in your hands, or putting it in a bag. The clamp is also durable enough for on/off about 100 times in 10 days of constant use. The filter glass is sharp enough NOT to negate the quality of the Iphone lens and sensor. For the money, solid little kit.2 CONS:There is a definite green shift in color. This is not crazy surprising, as a color shift is common in "prosumer" dedicated 77mm variable NDs like Tiffen, Polaroid, Fotga and Neweer. I work with Heliopan and B+W for my zeiss glass, and don't have those expectations for this, but am mentioning German glass to give a reference of what I look for and where a color shift occurs.Also, this ND reduced the contrast of the native image, but not by much. Working with Lumetri Color in Adobe Premiere CC i was able to work with the file and bring a liiiiitle bit of the contrast back, but the iphone file is so flimsy that it quickly falls apart. I'd imagine it would work a bit better with the massive files the FILMIC PRO app records within the Iphone.Check out the 10 second 4K video clip (un-manipulated).Again, for the price, its practically free and allows some pretty cool visual expression.

Awesome ND filters but I actually bought a 37 to 52mm adapter and bought ND1000 52mm filter. The ND filter the kit comes with is not dark enough in full sunlight so if you need an ND filter to do like 15 second or longer long exposure photography, you will need to get an adapter and 52mm ND1000 filter. You can also get 37mm ND1000 filter but it's way more expensive than getting the adapter and 52mm lenses.
