Butter Popcorn Seasoning, 19 oz, Movie Theater-Style Buttery Salt Blend

I gave it 4 stars but I'm still experimenting with it..I may add that 5th star after a few more tests. Just popped some corn and decided to try it..no instructions on it so I just sprinkled some on. Guess I added too much!! VERRRY salty, too salty for my taste, so will try adding a bit to the popping oil the next time and see how that works. I put a dab on my finger before popping my corn and it tasted buttery so I thought it would be fine to sprinkle it. Not going to do that again!! lol I like experimenting, anyway, so the next time I'll just pop a little and see how that works. I have a lot of popcorn and a lot of buttery salt so I'll be experimenting for awhile. 😊 Edited to add: I just popped another batch and upped the stars to a FIVE!! This stuff is excellent. I poured probably 1/4 cup Wesson Canola oil in a pot, added 1/4 teaspoon of the butter/salt seasoning (may add a touch more in my next test) and when the oil was hot, I added 1/2 cup Orville Redenbacher popcorn...I might add, ALL purchased on Amazon!! 😊😊😊 It turned out fabulously and I'm munching on popcorn as I write this. This butter/salt will be a staple in my pantry from now on. I don't like a strong salty taste so this may not appeal to some readers but it is perfect for me. And being able to taste the oil flavor just adds to the goodness!!😊😊😊

This is pure salt. It doesn't taste like butter at all; but I like it because it does stick to your buttered popcorn.

Tastes yummy....not sure what else to say. Its butter flavored salt. Doesn't stick to air popped popcorn, so maybe spray some pam butter flavoring on the popcorn first, then it may stick.

I have a 2.65oz shaker of Kernel Season's Popcorn Seasoning Butter Flavor that I was hoping to replace with this bulk product (just because I hate having a ton of little plastic containers around). Kernel Season's is very light on the tongue and bright with salt coming in more as an aftertaste. I really adore it on frozen veggies in place of butter and salt. With Snappy Buttery Flavored Theater Popcorn Salt my first thought on dumping a bit out on my (washed) palm and licking it off was "man that's salty" and it has a very metallic salt note throughout the flavor experience. That was going to be my headline but I realize it is advertised as popcorn salt and as such salty is to be expected. It's not bad, I think it would be okay on popcorn with some butter flavored oil, but it's not as buttery as I had hoped. I heated up some peas and carrots this afternoon, and they are perfectly edible, but I kinda want to add butter, which defeats the convenience of butter salt for me. When I finish this I'm not going to reorder.

The buttery flavor makes popcorn taste a lot better. It makes me want to eat more popcorn just so I can use this popcorn 🍿 seasoning. I would highly recommend this product.

Holy saltiness!! A pinch of this is enough for a large batch of popcorn. I had gotten a movie theater popping machine for my garage and have been trying to recreate that movie theater taste. This def works, almost a little too well. I put more than a pinch and dang, too salty, but popped another plain batch to mix it in and that was perfect. Still working on finding a great liquid butter flavoring too.

It adheres to popcorn well, has some buttery flavor, but the salt is intense!! Only use a dash !! I'm actually ordering an unsalted butter seasoning to mix in with it as we use it. Sodium is 698 mg per 1/4 tsp !! That's a huge concentration of sodium! I'll be buying an unsalted version of butter flavoring from now on. Most likely will pass this along.

Great buttery flavor. I use it in cooking. Great for mashed potatoes. Great in rice too. Buttery flavor.

Yup it tastes like theatre popcorn when it’s on.

Excellent flavour

It was good, taste just like a popcorn in movie theater but becareful don’t put too much because this is super salty probably 2 sprinkles and just try it to your liking other than that its good.
