I was tired of using old mugs, so I got these. I shared the other two with my co-workers. They're quite nice, and they allow you to see inside. They're not too light or heavy, just the right amount of weight. The quality is good, and they're large enough to hold a decent amount of items.

This set of three metal pencil holders are versatile & very well made. They are 3-3/4" H x 3-1/8" in diameter. The bottom is a thin metal disc with the sides 1/16" diameter metal posts that are spaced 1/4" apart. The top has a 1/16" diameter metal ring that is attached to the outer edges of the top of the posts in such a way as to prevent protrusion of the cut ends & holds the posts securely in place. There is a similar ring at the bottom around the outer edges of the posts that attaches to the bottom ring. I was pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness of each container as well as the weight. It isn't heavy but it is well balanced to hold your items securely upright without tipping over. These pencil holders are the perfect size to hold pens, pencils, markers, scissors, letter openers, etc. to get your desk organized as well as give it a nice look. These also work well to hold cosmetic brushes, nail files, clippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors etc. These are versatile enough to add a touch of class to just about any room in your house. These are a great value & very well made. I ordered the gold option & love how they organize as well as provide a nice subtle touch to the decor without being ostentatious.
