Versatile, less dust, lightweight to carry outdoors
I loved working with Conte crayons for life drawing and am now trying them for Plein Air landscape painting. I bought the landscape color set. My only complaint was that the darker green wad not nearly dark enough. I will need to buy some separate colors. On the plus side, these are so lightweight to carry, have very little dust, and they can mix with watercolors.

Very good quality
Great quality, I use these when I go on location and paint in watercolours like street scenes etc then I add in any extra colours when I get home The colours are very complimentary in the right shades for landscape painting

Achetés pour compléter ma gamme
J'aime beaucoup les carrés conté car ils ne sont pas trop poudreux. Je dessine des animaux ou des natures mortes avec. Les couleurs "paysage" sont surtout bien pour les différents verts du coffret. De plus ils ne coûtent pas chers, par rapport à d'autres marques. Ils sont arrivés en parfait état, aucun n'était cassé (ce qui est très rare!).

Blend beautifully on pastel mat
Lovely colours and smooth to use. Quite thin however so they break easily in use but I guess all pastels do. I used with pastel Mat and got a nice creamy looking blend .
