Work on coughs
The original nasty flavor works great on coughs and sore throats. Thought i'd try this flavor as it might be better than the black nyquil taste. Surprise! It isnt any better, but they seem to work just as well. So still 5 stars cuz they are, after all, cough drops.

Best for diabetics for real cough help
Love that this is sugar free AND a strong cough medicine. To me the flavor is not too sweet or sickly syrupy. It actually eases the coughs and sore throats, not just coats them. Will be my go to from now on, but only this currant flavor. I don't like the regular flavor or the honey lemon.

Delicious and effective!
Fisherman's Friend is such an insanely effective lozenge, I can't recommend it enough. In the US you usually only see the Regular and Cherry flavors sold; this blackcurrant was a treat and I'll definitely be back for more.

Old reliable
Fisherman’s friend are always my go to cough drop. This was a flavor I had never seen. Great to throw in the hunting bag or console of the boat

Do you have an annoying tickling cough? Try these.
Whatever flavor of Fishermans Friend Lozenge you get, the active ingredient is menthol. It works, safely. These have the pleasant addition of blackcurrant flavoring. There is another "heavy duty" version with LOTS of menthol, but I have trouble with those. But I always stock up with several flavors each season for the whole family because when those colds come around that have us coughing at night, we pop one or two of these in our mouths and they very slowly dissolve and stop that tickle that drives us nuts. We can sleep! The sugar free version means our teeth are safe. My DH loves them, too. Great for the day, too, BTW.

Das Original ist immer noch das Beste.
Die Geschmacksrichtung Cassis ist nicht überall erhältlich, aber für meinen Geschmack sind die Fishermans Friends immer noch als Original das Beste. Dazu: fairer Preis und anscheinend fast nur bei Amazon erhältlich.
