Originally developed by the Cleveland Pneumatic Tool Company, 1/8'' and 3/16'' Clecos have been a staple for the aerospace and aviation industries for decades. However, 1/8'' and 3/16'' Cleco Fasteners can be used for a variety of applications, including automotive body work, general manufacturing, fiberglass installation, or any metal panels that need to be temporarily yet securely fastened together. To use 1/8'' and 3/16'' Cleco Fasteners, simply place the fastener in the pliers, and squeeze the plier handle to sink the plunger and extend the pins, otherwise known as step-cut locks. Once the desired holes have been lined up, thread the Cleco through the holes and release plier grip.
