Perfect way to refresh the color of old grout
If you don't have a large area this is the perfect "Tile Paint Marker" to touch up your grout. After using it, to cover my bathroom grout that had turned an unpleasant color over the years, my tiled bathroom looked like new. The only drawback using this pen is that grout can be abrasive and it will gradually wear the tip down. It did maintain it's shape enough to finish my small bathroom though. All in all a perfect way to refresh that aging discolored grout.

Grout pen, great product!
I love this pen, itโs fast and easy to use. Made my grimy grout look like new. I did my living room, kitchen and both my bathrooms with this pen. Wonderful!

Not for Shower Floors!
NOT FOR USE IN SHOWERS This is a great product for floor or wall repair, but given it's water-soluble, it should not be used in wet areas. I used it on my bathroom floor and it worked great. Itโs easy to apply. The one thing to be aware of it that you should have a dense sponge (like a โmagic eraserโ) and once you go over the line, pass over it again with the sponge to even it out. Looks great. I tried it in my shower, however, and it's terrible. It lasts a couple of days, then it starts to flake off. My grout has an interesting color - when it's dry it's almost white (and a perfect match to this gray), but when it gets wet, it turns dark gray (almost black), so, where the product flakes off, you see black portions of the grout coming through. It looks like mold! The treatment seems to last no more than a couple of days. I've tried re-treating it and then sealing it with a clear grout sealer, all to no avail. It's just not strong enough for a shower floor. As I said, the rest of the bathroom seems just fine, it's just the shower floor that seems to suffer. Upside is that it removes pretty easily - I took a nail brush and some alcohol and got most of it up. Now looking for a different solution. Pros: - great match to my grout - easy to apply Cons: - Flakes off if used in a shower Recommendation: OK to use in other parts of the bathroom or kitchen, but not where standing water will collect.

Great product
Grout pen works as stated. Fast and simple. Renewed floor bathroom grout in one easy step.Tiles are the small, white hexagonals from the 1920s. The grout looked like it hadn't been maintained since then. It is cracked, chipped, and stained. Absolutely disgusting. I tried numerous cleanings with assorted chemicals and compounds (commerical and homemade) along with steam cleaning to no avail. This was a final effort. I was very skeptical. Much to my delight, this was the best fix. An elegant solution.

Color issues
I have a medium gray tile grout. I first ordered the light gray pen and tried it. It was nearly white. So I ordered the darker gray, figuring the colors must run light, but that was dark! Take a look at the picture. I did a comparison between the light gray and dark gray and their caps. The dark gray actually looks like the cap color, but the light gray looks almost white. Yes, I did shake it up a lot, several times each time I tried it. It just comes out almost white. How do I get the gray color thatโs actually on the light gray cap? The stuff looks like it works great, but I need light grey, and the color on the light gray pen does not match the cap, so itโs useless to me.

Awful
This is one of those less than one star situations. He did not cover the grout. It was more like bright white than any color of gray. It looked so awful. Thank goodness I only did a few squares. I had to scrub scrub, scrub with one of those Spinning brushes to get enough off that it looked mediocre at best. Iโm not even bothering to return it. Itโs not worth the trouble. But beware.

Wonderful inexpensive fix thatโs easy to use!
So easy! This is the Winter White over a badly yellowed and stained white grout. There is a blue hue to it that I see in the room but itโs so close to silver it doesnโt really show blue in the photos. From other reviews it sounds like the grays are all cool/blue and not warm-? Final results will depend on lighting and wall color of course but this is a safe bet if you want a bit of color; you can always go darker. Could probably revert to the white pen also if you donโt like it as this covered really well and is fairly light. Like other reviewers warned, donโt rub too hard or the grout will destroy the paint tip. You can flip it over if that happens but better if you can avoid it. This took several passes here and there but itโs not like you have to do two entire coats, just what you need where you need it to get the coverage you want. I also didnโt worry about cleanup as I went; I was careful then wiped up any overage later after paint absorbed some. Was going to use Mapei Grout Refresh on the floor of this bath but dreaded using a brush. Canโt wait to try the grout pens instead! Tip: if you get it in your skin, rubbing alcohol takes it right off.

Fรผr durch Malerrenovierung farbverschmutzte Fliesenfugen prima geeignet. Der recht hohe Preis ist wohl der Farbenvielfalt und der geringeren Nutzung gegenรผber normalen Permanentmarkern geschuldet.

I was going to get new flooring and thought what the heck, I will give this a go first. The wide nib used sideways was perfect size for these grout lines. Used 1 and a bit pens & done in less than an hour. Definitely makes the floor cleaner looking & might be able to put up with these tiles a while longer

Lots of reviews here saying 'Winter Grey' is useless as it's white. It's not, it's got a very slight grey tint to it which is exactly what I wanted to define my white kitchen tiles (grout was white before). Hopefully the photos show this well. I think with darker tiles, yes, it would probably look stark and almost white because of the contrast. I bought this and 'Light grey' to compare light grey on white grout next to white tiles comes up very dark grey. So, in summary, 'winter grey' is good for white or very pale tiles and 'light grey' probably better for dark tiles. Hope this helps .
