My first batch was a disaster but I figured out I could cook it perfectly by adding 1 and 1/4 cup of water to one cup of rice. In my case, there is no place to get sushi from right now so I made California rolls. (No place to get sushi-grade fish either so ... yeah.) I'm not an expert sushi maker but what I made was comparable to what I'd find in a deli somewhere so I got my fix. I'm happy with the rice's texture and will try to make rice pudding with it next.
