Pliable and easy to use.
Really impressed with this MucOff tape. I’ve only ever used Stans which works perfectly fine but wasn’t available on next day so I thought I’d try an alternative. The MucOff tape seems to be more pliable and when pulled tight, it clings nicely to the rim with no ripples. I only used one layer (some reviews advised two) with the overlap at the valve and it’s worked exactly as it should. I’ll definitely be using this tape from now on. For reference, this is the 21mm tape

Very good neat product
Works well but clean your rims properly prior to using

It's not bad, but not amazing as I was hoping
Small note, this was my first time prepping a wheel to run tubeless, bike came with it set up but needed to replace a tire after nearly 18months, so let that help frame my level of experience first. The tape had good adhesion but it wasn't particularly strong, Stan's tape was already on the rim but dirty and a little worn so thought it best to replace the tape before adding sealant etc. The tape adhered to the rim but also came off very quickly and wasn't that flexible laterally as I needed to rework sections to remove air bubbles and have it flush all round. That made it difficult. However, because of it being a very plastic style tape (basically heavier, branded sellotape), when I made a small hole for the valve before feeding the valve through the tape tore and expanded to a larger hole than the valve bung (for context I used a pin to puncture and then the valve stem). This widening meant I had air escaping through the valve hole, but there were also leaks from the spokes around the rim. So I ended up ripping it all of and starting again. Same problem. Third time I decided to go round the rim twice with the tape and it finally managed to seal properly and finally have no air leaks from the wheel itself. So overall, yeah my technique could be called into question, but perhaps this isn't the best variant for an MTB wheel running tubeless. Local Evans bike shop where I went for the valves said in future use gorilla tape, so might give that a go next time!

One of the best tapes I've tried
I've tried a lot of tape and this is one of the best. It has a good amount of stickyness but it removable without leaving too much of a mess, it has a little bit of give/stretch but also seems very strong. The only downside is I feel it could be just a little bit thicker, on some wheel/tyre combos it may need two layers. It applies very well once you have the knack, which is shown in the installation video on YouTube (be sure to watch it first else you will waste tape, talking from experience). Basically clean the rim very thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol & ensure the spoke holes are free from burrs. Then roll off about 20-30cm at a time and whilst holding some tension on the tape, press the tape down into the groove of the rim. Once this is done go around & ensure the tape is seated into the tyre bead channels. Don't do as I did and try the other way around (concentrate on the tyre bead channels first) as it'll end up wrinkled. Also you will need wider tape than the rims, I used 35mm on my 30mm inside width rims.

Should have bought this in the first place
After trying a few different cheaper brands, I should have bought this in the first place. Couldn't get these tyres to stay inflated but switched to MucOff's version and all good. Although I'd recommend double wrapping your rim as first attempt just didn't hold air. Double wrapped and they've stayed up. The tape is a bit cellotape feeling, but is easy to apply, doesn't crease easily and you don't need to use a lot of force to apply either. I appreciate it's a bit pricier than other brands, but you pay for what you get in this case.

Great rim tape, great seal.
I used this tape on three rims, 1x.27.5 and 2x 29's. The 27,5 was a little more narrow and therefore took a little more time to install. I did remove the old tape but failed to clean the rim and edge of the tyre, which resulted in the tyre not sealing on a manual pump. Only when connected to a compressor did the tyre seal. TIP: When using new value inserts, go larger on the seal plug in the inside of the rim. Yes you can test the fit first, just do not use the smallest seal plug as it is a mission to take of the tyre which has new tyre sealant inside. On the 29 rims, I removed the the old tape, cleaned the inside of the rim and removed the old sealant around the edge of the tyre which sits on the inside of the rim. Applying new tape was easier on these wider rims, making sure the tape fitted correctly in the inside edge. I used the existing value, as I did not replace it. Added in the tube sealant and manually pumped the tyre, which sealed within seconds. Yes the tyre/s were on both bikes when using the manually pump. I will see if there is enough tape for two more 29 rims, totalling 5 rims.

It’s Pink
If you can get it at the right price it’s great. If not there are other options that are just as good. Claims over being the most durable etc are just claims I’ve torn this on a spoke hole in fitting as easy as any other I’ve tried. Knocking a star off as the adhesive on the end patches is still rubbish. Either the glue needs to be stronger or the patch more flexible. I’ve used this tape for years and every time I’ve changed a tyre I’ve found the end patches to have got leak under it. Just a good job the main tape is so sticky. Oh and it’s pink. Peaty’s is grey. Makes no odd you can’t see it when it’s wrapped in a tyre Now if they did a tape that changed colour when the adhesive was in contact that would be worth paying the extra for.

Best rim tape I have used
I have used the muc off rim tape and the stans flow one. Muc off is far better in my opinion. It is very sticky. Goes on pretty easy. Can usually reapply it if you messed up placing it, without too much loss of adhesiveness. This is the best one I have found so far.
