Sensitive Skin & Stomach Puppy Dog Food, Salmon, 24 lb Bag

I have a Mini Whoodle with many food allergies, and since I started giving her Purina Pro Plan Puppy, her itching has improved a lot. She no longer has the same reactions she had with other foods, and her digestion is much better. Her stool is healthy and consistent, and she loves the taste. This is a terrific dog food at a great price. My dogs love it. Fortunately, it’s economical to feed. I have a Blue Heeler, a Jack Russell, a Cocker Spaniel and a 75 lb mix breed that eat one 40lb bag, Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach Salmon & Rice, a month. I also have 2 outside dogs, a Blue Heeler and a Great Dane/ Lab Mix. They eat about another 30lb bag of Puring Pro Plan. I even have a puppy I feed Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach for Puppy Formula. I try to start them out right. The 24 lb bag will last my pup 2-3 months and she loves it! I feed all of my dogs the Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon & Rice Formula. I prefer it as it has no chicken and so much has been written about dogs having chicken allergies so I’m trying to cut it out of my dogs diet as much as possible.

My puppy loves this, and as a spaniel, I am being careful with her diet from the outset. I read reviews and recommendations prior to selecting this.

I'm really happy with this food. Its made with omega 6 and vitamin A. Also with rice in it, it's easily digestible. This food is made for sensitive stomachs and skin. Which works great for our breed. They are miniature schnauzers and are prone to having pancreatitis. So its reassuring that they are being fed something that helps their digestive system. The puppies love it and their coats look great. They're shiny and healthy thanks to the fish oil in their food. They havent had a diarrhea or loose stools from eating this. The kibble is a small size to make it easier for them to eat. It doesn't have a strong smell like you'd expect with it being salmon. There aren't crazy dyes in it either. The only thing I'll say is not such a positive thing is the price. But you do have to pay more for quality in most cases. So I don't mind spending the extra to make sure they're eating good quality food! Buy it here on amazon for the best price, it's cheaper than getting it in store or from other retailers!

Greatly rated and doesn’t bother my puppy’s tummy. I buy him the salmon and rice and stay away from chicken because that bothers him. He eats it okay but probably would like something else mixed in. So the vet suggested to mix in a small amount of a healthy soft food. So I am trying Fresh Pet and mix in blueberries.

I have been buying this sensitive skin and stomach brand dog food because one of the sisters I have started vomiting while still young. I started them both on the sensitive brand and did not give them chicken food or treats. They do very well and are 7 years old now. Once in a while one will vomit but rarely.

Meets all expectations

Cannot say enough good things about this food. We have a puppy with a VERY sensitive tummy and tried her on so many foods before finding this one. Now that we found this one, we are very happy. Puppy no longer gets sick in the night and she loves eating it. All sickness issues have gone away. We tried offering her our other dogs food after she has been on this one for months and she was instantly sick again so we will be staying with this one permanently. We also are friends with our vet and she says this is a fantastic food option for sensitive dogs and she recommends it as a vet to her patients. Very happy we found this food and we will continue to purchase

This puppy food has saved us from spending $150+ on a hydrolyzed diet for our sensitive boy. Although I wish the kibble was cheaper, it seems like all dog food is expensive these days. Regardless of price, we have not had any issues with this kibble and our boy who has very sensitive skin.
