Women’s Cotton Ultra Legging with Wide Waistband, Available in Capri and Legging Length

In early 2010,I got a pair of black American Apparel leggings that I loved & wore extremely often for almost 4 years. By late fall 2013,however,they had predictably become quite worn -- they had a few holes & were bit faded & were so stretched out that they were practically falling off me (not ideal for leggings!).I'm not complaining;almost 4 years is a good run for leggings worn about 2-3 times a week except in the summer (I also have a brown pair that I bought at the same time but wore much less & those are still in great shape)but it was definitely time for a new pair! I wanted to buy another pair of those same AA leggings but the price had gone up quite a bit, my budget was tight & I couldn't find them on sale anywhere. It was December & I really wanted black leggings for the winter so, after looking around & reading the reviews for several different brands/styles, I decided to order these, which were not exactly cheap as far as leggings go but were definitely more reasonably priced than the AA ones. I figured if I didn't like them as much as the AA ones, I could order those when my bank account recovered a bit from the holidays or I found them on sale. I never ended up ordering the AA ones, though, bc these are great! They are high quality (no holes or fading after several months of very frequent wear), very comfortable & fit well. I am just slightly smaller, weight-wise, than the "average" woman (I'm 5'5 1/2" -- I usually round up to 5'6" but for the sake of helping others chose the right size, I'll refrain from doing so here ;)-- & weigh about 115 lbs, maybe 120 when I've been particularly hungry or 110 when I've been exercising every day or coming off an illness) & typically wear an XS in women's clothing unless the brand runs small & the XS in these fit well.I could probably gain an extra 10-15 lbs or lose 5-10 lbs & they'd still fit well -- leggings are nice like that! They are thick enough that I wasn't cold wearing them outside in the winter, though it typically doesn't get all that cold where I live. I did wear them with a skirt & warm boots on a few days when it was in the 30s & 40s ,though,& was fine.I wasn't, however, outside for all that long -- the longest was 25 minutes while supervising recess; I wouldn't wear them if I were going to be out walking all day unless it was at least in the low 50s. I also wore them outside for quite a while on several days it the 70s-low 80s & was not at all hot. I finally had to retire them for the season when it got to be warmer than that, however :) The only slight drawback is that they are rather long on me. My legs are pretty short for someone my height -- I have a somewhat long torso & a kind of big head lol -- so I run into that problem with women's pants fairly often (unless I get a short/petite pair). I'm guessing, though, that they would be a bit long on even someone my height with legs that are proportionate to her height as they seem longer than most women's pants. It's not a major issue for me bc I generally wear them with boots & when I wear them w/ other shoes/sandals I can just pull them up higher on my torso without them looking noticeably different, especially since I always wear leggings with a skirt,tunic, or dress. If you plan on wearing them with both a shorter top & shoes/sandals instead of boots, however, the length might be a problem.

I ordered these leggings as a replacement to my old Walmart ones that I've worn to rags, and so far I'm pleased with the purchase! I was hesitant of the price at first (Walmart leggings are usually around $10), but knowing I only get about a year of wear out of those, I was ready to take the plunge and try something that might hold up a little longer. Its only been a few weeks since my purchase, so obviously I can't yet speak to how long the leggings will last, but so far I am pleased! The seams are done nicely, the stitches aren't loose or crooked. The fabric itself is thicker than what I'm used to, which means the first few times I've worn them they aren't as flexible or stretchy maybe as others, but they're still way better than pants lol I do LOVE the waistband on these, its much thicker than some leggings (if you don't prefer bulky/high-waisted pants maybe look elsewhere), but I love the support they offer my belly. These leggings are also long enough for me, which is nice, since I'm 5'10" and usually leggings hit my ankle bone if I'm lucky. These don't scrunch around my ankles, but they are longer than many that I've tried. Fits true to size, although maybe a little tight at first due to the thickness of the material. Maybe order up if you're between sizes or prefer your clothes a little looser. I will try to remember to update this review in a year or so with how the leggings have held up. :) *Update 2.5 years later* The thigh seam gave out about a year into wearing them. I was able to restitch them myself but that only lasted about another year. I finally trashed them a week or so ago after accepting that I couldn't fix them again. RIP leggings with the best wasitband, you will be missed. Tbh I'll probably buy another pair. They were comfy af.

These leggings are extremely soft and stretchy. They are tad bit thicker than lularoe, but not too thick. They aren't the same type of softness as a pair of Lularoe, but equally comfortable. They remind me of a workout yoga pant. They stay in place (except at the top) and come up just over my belly button, which us perfect for hiding my mom pooch. As for the fit I would say they are bigger than I expected, but not loose or too tight. I do have two complaints though, hence the four star rating. My first complaint is that the ankles are a little big. I bought a size large and I am 5 foot 5 and 180 lbs. The length is just right. My other complain is the waist band is rolling over in the front. Overall I really like these leggings and will likely order another pair.

Update (4yrs later, still 5 star): this is my fourth pair in four years. They don’t last forever but I still like them enough that I’m glad to buy them again when it’s time. Original Review (5 stars): I’ve had these pants for about six months now and have worn them continuously through the fall/winter and now early spring. My only complaint is that I wish they came in 10 more colors! I wear a size 16w pant because my waist is up higher, so it’s hard for me to find pants that fit my shape without adding a muffin top! I bought the 1x, which fits perfectly. They are thick enough to legitimately wear as pants but thin enough that you could definitely use them as a under layer too. These have been a go too, especially in sweater weather and with boots. They have washed and dried well. My husband, bless his heart, does most of the laundry- so everything goes in together! The waists has not shrunk in the dryer, as so many clothes do, but do resume their shape in the material, if they have stretched out a bit. When they stretch out, they still maintain similar shape without looking weird or giving you droopy drawers. Now, they are starting to fade a bit, so I decided to retire them to yard work and set out to pull out some overgrown roses in the yard (we’re talking 6-10 feet sticker ropes!) To my surprise, I escaped with no tears, to snags. Buy these. They are amazing. I was not paid to give a review but do have an ulterior motive - which is that I want to buy these for many years to come!!

These black leggings have quickly become my go-to pair!! They fit true to size, with just the right amount of stretch and a high waistband that stays in place all day. The material is thick enough so they’re not see-through, yet still breathable and soft against the skin, They look sleek enough to pair with a sweater and boots, but also perfect for workouts or lounging!!

These aren't terrible leggings but let's just say I'm glad I got them when they were half off. I'm fairly confident they are authentic Hue leggings but they just didn't quite match the quality I expected from this brand. The fabric is my biggest issue - it just doesn't feel sturdy and I already have some pilling between my thighs only having worn 2 times. After washing once they look a bit faded to my eye. I like the length, I'm 5'8" and they don't bunch up nor do they hit too high on my ankle. The waistband is super comfortable but it gaps out a bit for me (I have 17" differences between my waist and hips so I'm used to this happening). This shows through some of my dresses and also means they sag a little through the say so I have to hitch them up, but nowhere nearly as bad as some other leggings I've had. Overall, pretty meh, they're wearable but I personally feel they wouldn't be worth full price and I won't be surprised if I have a hole or more significant pilling soon.

I originally bought the DK Monarchy brand and returned them because they kept siding down in the crotch and waist. I absolutely love these Hue leggings and will by the other available colors as soon as I post this review. These leggings are amazing and are flattering and comfortable. I bought the black ones and they are not shiny and are the perfect medium thickness and can be worn for any occasion. The waist does not fall down or dig in and your imperfections will be smoothed out and you will look awesome. You don't need to pull them up or make adjustments when you put them on they stay put and the crotch does not ride down. I am 5'9'' and 165 lbs and usually wear a size 8 in pants, I bought the medium and they are plenty long and I must say are not too loose or tight. I am of average build and would say that if you are in between sizes to go to the smaller size, I usually would not recommend this because I like to be comfortable but these stretch well. If you don't like them you can send them back with Amazon Prime free returns. If you don't have Amazon Prime you really should get it. I bought everything this Christmas using Amazon Prime and I had never returned anything before but found that it is really fast and easy. I love Amazon!

I cannot say enough about these leggings! They are plenty high waisted, and with the wide waist band they give such a good silhouette! And they are nice and long. I am 5'9" and 168 lbs. I ordered a large and they fit me like a glove! They are the perfect thickness. They are NOT see through. And they are a wonderful material. Lots of places sell the ones made out of that nasty shiny stuff that pills terribly if you even look at it wrong. These are so nice and smooth and the perfect amount of stretch. I can tell just by looking at them they should launder very well. I have always previously worn the Mossimo leggings from Target juniors section, because I like the wide waistband and the cotton fabric. These are just like them except a million times better! they are longer, and taller in the waist, and thicker. I was actually just wanting more mossimos from target but I waited too late in the season so all the full length ones were gone, so I got on amazon. I about gagged at the 40 dollar price tag for a pair of leggings, but the reviews wee so good and there were free returns, so I thought what the heck, I'll try them. I wear leggings pretty much constantly, and I am just overwhelmingly impressed with these. They are DEFINITELY worth the money. No more target leggings for me! These are the BEST!

Best leggings ever..Hue never disappoints They stay the same even with frequent washings! The waist has a large band very comfy..I have several of these in black and grey because they are indispensable and worth it!!

These are the best leggings out there, in my opinion. I’ve been wearing them for years, and have compared them against many other brands. They fit true to size. The waistband is just perfect, it doesn’t slide down, it doesn’t fold over, it just stays put without digging in at all. They’re comfortable and breathable, they feel like a second skin. I’ll definitely come back to this brand and style over and over again. The quality is there, too.
