Can the primary light flash other than a white light? Is there a way to modify it to blue or another color that is less likely to cause seizures?

The primary light will flash only white. Under the flashing light there different LEDs to indicate different notifications for your home. Orange is for the Baby Cry Transmitter, Green is for the Doorbell, Yellow is for the Telephone, and Red is for Fire. There are optional covers that you can place over the primary flashing light if it becomes to bright for you. The different color options for the covers are Blue, Red, Yellow, and White. Is there a fire alarm or smoke detector that this bed/pillow shaker works with?

The Bed Shaker is to be connected to a Bellman & Symfon Receiver. And with the Bellman & Symfon Smoke Alarm Transmitter you can receive notifications if there is smoke/fire in your home. Once the Bellman & Symfon Smoke Alarm Transmitter detects smoke or fire in the home, it sends a wireless signal to the Bellman & Symfon Receiver. Then the Receiver notifies you and provides vibrations from the Bed Shaker.

Can a home have two light notification devices, such as one for upstairs and a separate one for downstairs?

Yes, you can have multiple receivers and transmitters throughout your home. The range is up to 250ft clear of line. If there are any walls or obstructions between the Flash Receiver and the Transmitter the range may be effected. I hope this helps! Best Regards, Bellman & Symfon
